A very busy and important weekend.

H is on a golf trip "babymoon" (whenever he or one of his friends is going to have another baby they all get together for a man weekend). Anywho, I found this box filled with my childhood BSC collection. I'm looking forward to a weekend of binge reading about Claudia, Mary Anne, Kristy and Stacy. I think a few bottles of wine will help illuminate their adventures.

Omg. I was obsessed. I even tried to start a BSC like twenty times. Until my mom pointed out that nobody was going to wait for a meeting to find a sitter (THANKS FOR CRUSHING MY SPIRIT MOM).

In elementary school, I got the babysitters club board game for Christmas. My bday is in January... I gave each attendee a BSC book or two in advance and told them to read them so we could play my game. I have never lived that down! I'm an English teacher now, so it makes sense that I would assign my friends homework.
