Spotting... think this is the end possible loss

So... I started spotting today. Started out a little brownish pink, but has now gone to red. Despite my good second beta yesterday, I think this is the beginning of the end for me this time. I know spotting can be nothing and everything still turn out okay, but... I am spotting just like I usually do before AF starts, so I am not feeling very optimistic. My doc just said there was nothing to be done, just wait & see what happens. If I reach full period like bleeding, go to ER. Otherwise, we'll see what we can see at u/s next Wednesday.

I am trying just to focus on the fact that I got this far. Now I know I am at least capable of getting a BFP.

FX that everything will be ok next week and the spotting stops soon! I spotted at least once a week from week 5-7 (sometimes light spotting and sometimes heavy) and then had a heavy bleed at week 8, but everything turned out ok. I hope you are in the same boat as me and everything will be fine. You are in my T&P!

I'm so sorry! I really hope it's nothing! Will your RE not give you an ultrasound just to see if they can tell where the bleeding is coming from?

I agree about trying to get in for an u/s. It could be a sch which can bleed like crazy but the pregnancy is still ok. Praying for you!

Ughhhh lots of prayers headed your way!! A lot of women have spotting/bleeding, but I know that is not comforting. Try to rest and take care of yourself!!

Alas, no early u/s. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow, but the nurse said it was too early to really see anything but a sack and whatever they would see wouldn't really tell us anything, so might as well wait until Wednesday and see what happens in the meantime. Not emotionally satisfying, but probably medically sound. :-( I am, however, much more tempted to take my OBGYN big sister up on her offer for a sneak peek u/s on Sunday -- despite the distinct weirdness of my sister using the vag cam on me.

FX for you. I started spotting/bleeding at 6 weeks and did it until 11 weeks.... every day. It's hell on the nerves.

((hugs)) I had pink spotting at 5 weeks, 6 weeks and 7 weeks and then a huge bleed at 8 weeks. It was a SCH and now I'm 14 weeks and the baby has always been fine and measured perfectly on track. FX that this is the case for you and that it's going to be ok!
