How often do you see your nurse/OB

Hello
I am new here and still in my first trimister just wondering how often are you going in for checkup and ultrasounds. My OB wants to see me every four weeks and had me do only one ultrasound so far at 7 weeks. I am just wondering what the norm for followup with twin pregnancy!

Saw my OB every 4 weeks, then every 2 around 28 weeks (I have GD with insulin, so was more closely monitored). At 18 weeks I started going for ultrasounds every 4 weeks until 34 weeks to check my cervix and babies' growth/positions/etc. Prior to my 18 week u/s, I had one at 7 weeks to check dates and for twins (had prior twin loss) and an NT scan just before 13 weeks. I only saw my OB, not an MFM.

I have di/di twins and am seen every 4 weeks by an OB. Pretty soon it will change to every 2 weeks, I think at week 28. We found out we were having twins at 17 weeks and I've had an ultrasound at every apt.

I requested an ultrasound at 12 weeks so I can confirm its still a twin pregnancy and to see if they are measuring on track. I did read up about maternal fetal medicine doctors and will bring that up with my OB . Thank you for your replies. I am just nervous it's my first pregnancy (one mc) and I just want to make sure I am getting the right care

I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and will go back in 2 weeks to make sure everything is on track due to a previous loss.

I was going every four weeks until recently. Now it is every 2-3 weeks. I had an u/s at 7 weeks, 12 weeks, and 18 weeks with mfm. At my appointment with mfm, she said around 28 weeks I will start getting u/s every 4 weeks.

Di/Di here; I went every 4 weeks (starting at 7weeks) and did an u/s at every visit until 28 weeks. Then I went every 2 weeks until 32 weeks. Then I went every week until delivery.

Also, starting at 12 weeks (I opted for the NT Test) I went to an MFM for growth scans every 4 weeks.

I have seen my OB every 4 weeks, u/s each time. I believe we will stay that way until 28 weeks? Then twice a month.

On top of that, I have seen the MFM at 9 weeks (to determine di/di), 13 weeks (NT scan) and next is 19ish weeks for A/S.

After that I will have regular scans, and eventually NSTs with the MFM.

Not sure of the details- I should have taken notes!

I'll go every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, then every two for a while. Haven't talked about when we'll be down to every week. I had an u/s at my first appt with this doc at 12 weeks because she wanted to see things for herself. I will have my next u/s at ~20 weeks which will be the anatomy u/s. Then I will have another at 24 and 28 weeks. Then I will be on every-two-weeks appts, but only have an u/s at every second appt.

Because of preterm labor and history of miscarriages, I saw my first trimester doctor every week w an ultra sound every week. Second trimester I saw my doc every two weeks w us every time. Now I'm in third trimester and seeing my doc every week w mfm as well u/s every visit. It's a lot of appts but after six losses no one is taking chances w spontaneous twins.

I have seen my OB every two weeks since the beginning of my pregnancy and I get an u/s every visit. At first I saw the MFM 6 weeks apart, and then every 4 weeks after that.

Di/di. Every 4w w OB until 28w, then every 2w until complications at 32w when I had to do weekly bloodwork.

Ultrasounds at 7w (she offered a dating and I took her up on it and we found twins), NT at 12w and anatomy scan at 19w. Growth scans at 23w, 27w, and 31w. Didn't make it to my 35w growth scan.

NSTs started at 32w. I had 3 of them before having my babies at 34w.

I'm only 14 weeks, but so far my OB is seeing me once a month. I've had one ultrasound with her, which was at 7 weeks. She said my next ultrasound would be at my anatomy scan which she would send me out for. For,as much as I was told I would be watched more closely, so far there is no difference between my care with my singleton and this time with my twins. On one hand I don't mind not being poked at more.... but I would be lying if I said I didn't want to see in there!

I was an IVF patient so weekly ultrasounds in the first trimester (didn't see the actual OB until 13 weeks). Now I see OB every 3 weeks until later on.

Congratulations! I'm almost 23 weeks with b/g twins and we now go every 3 weeks but after next visit switch to every 2 weeks. Our MFM (we don;t see a regular OB) is almost 2 hours away so it's a haul but we feel more comfortable than the local regular OB, who also suggested we see a specialist. We'll be delivering at a university hospital and live in a small town so we were prepared for the drive.

I'm 17w with twins and I've only gone once every 4 weeks and only had one ultra sound (at 12w) so far. We don't don't back until 19w for our next ultra sound, which is when we find out their sexes (yay!!!) and a routine OB apt. I know everything is going smoothly but I would really like to be able to see the babies more!
