If you remember I posted something about babies not standing a week ago or so and said my DD wasn't standing... well my baby girl stood by herself yesterday!
A few days ago she started saying "wat" for water and "nite nite".
She can also do some puzzles by herself and she does them very well.
My little guy is starting to dance! It's more of a white boy bounce but he does it whenever he turns on the music on the activity table. He's also trying to say "shoes" but it comes out more like "soos". He brings his sandals to me while he's saying it. Such a fun age !
Oh my gosh! Have to post again because I totally forgot the best thing to brag about !! He started signing "milk" about a week ago and is using it appropriately. When he's crying or crabby and I ask what's wrong , he will sign milk and run for the kitchen. I love to see his little gears turning and learning so quickly!!
We are officially fully weened, yay for LO ( ( for me) It all happened gradually and naturally. Only very occasionally does he point at my chest like he wants something.
He's also gotten so smart lately, he responds to everything. If I tell him it's time to change his bum, he goes right over to the change table and points. He understand _everything_, it's so crazy to see them get so smart. He's also trying really hard to say certain words, nothing too clear yet but he's trying. I just need to start watching what I say now, if I say lets get ready to make supper, he goes straight for it and wants it now It's also a reminder to make sure we don't say any bad words around him because he'll start repeating them soon enough!
@CanukMam - That's awesome that he goes over to the changing table when you mention a diaper change! I say the words "diaper change" and my DD is crawling off at top speed and laughing. She hates diaper changes and always tries to run away when I mention them.
he goes over, like "I understand this is what you want" but then when I pick him up and put him on the table he cries bloody murder. The kid is confused :P
I think he's just proud that he understands and he's showing off.
Addi can now see a picture of an animal and make their sound. She tries to put her shoes and socks on, brush her hair/teeth, get dressed etc. She is going to be little miss independent for sure.
She has a huge vocabulary now and it's so nice to not have to guess what she wants
she signs: please, milk, eat, more
she says: ball, up, more, nana (banana), milk, agua/wawa, book, bubba (dog), cheese, mama, dada, papa, hi, bye, more, no, si
She loves to give kisses which are my favorite too
Warner is a pretty darn good singer. He is accurately humming the tunes to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" (ie the ABCs tune) and Wheels on the Bus. Definitely got that from daddy! I can't sing for the life of me!
!
Warner, our early surprise, born March 12, 2013!
Watching You Grow Everyday, Right Before Our Eyes!
Cortana will run up to the toilet, lift the lid and say "Ewwww..." Clearly a "don't touch the toilet" lesson fail.
She also says "What Dat" and points when she wants to know what something is. She is also getting really good at responding to instructions, like "pick up your ball", "go to the kitchen", etc. Also, if I sit cross-legged on the floor and say "go get a book", she finds one and brings it back to me, and climbs into my lap so we can read it together. So stinkin' cute.
Also, dancing queen. If Thomas comes on the TV, she comes flying into the livingroom and dances up a storm to the theme song, lol.
ohh my goodness, what isn't Cavin doing. Ornery little man he is. He is all but running, I love watching him walk around the house. He has a Tow Mater battery powered truck he drives all over the house. He is talking in a way that only mom dad and sissy can understand. He says: up, down, snack, out, momma, dad, sis, good, yum yum. He loves books so I keep a few by his bead that he can reach and more times than not I will get him after a nap or in the morning and he will have a book in bed with him. He just amazes us everyday at what he knows. Like every mom/parent we think our LO is the smartest and cutest.
I feel like all of a sudden DD is doing everything ... so much so that I can't keep up with her! Well, everything except walking (she has taken steps independently; I think she just knows that right now crawling is faster).
But, my favorite things that she does lately are:
1. Open mouth, tongue sticking out, sloppy kisses.
2. Excitedly saying "lookit lookit lookit!" (her version of look at that!) whenever she sees something she likes/wants/.
3. She's starting to learn to put her cup down nicely instead of throwing it across the kitchen. Or pointing to it when she's thirsty instead of wildly flinging food everywhere.
