Yeah, I get attached to a certain amount of shows and don't have room in my heart for new ones, so I never got into PLL or OITNB. My loyalties lie with SYTYCD, Awkward (guilty confession), Million Dollar Listing NY, Real Housesives of NY and OC, New Girl (can't wait for it to come back), and a few others that also aren't in season.
I'm intrigued by PLL and OITNB, but I only get to watch maybe 1 show a week. I still need to finish Parenthood, call the midwife, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones...
How will I ever have the time?
I am hooked on parenthood. I almost didn't watch it but so happy that I did! I just started PLL and I am not hooked yet.
The other day I took the cooler bag out of my pump bag but never put the milk in the fridge. Found it later that night. 18 oz down the drain. I almost cried, not going to lie.
I'm so jealous of all this TV watching. I'm desperate to see the new season of OITNB, but LO cries when we turn the TV on in the evening, and I'm working during the day now.
@CHPhotoMama - I hope you got some sleep. I'm not usually afraid to sleep when DH isn't home, but I get restless and stay up all night. I never used to be that way either.
Also, the storms here (MN) have been insane. Roads are flooded, things are crazy. Last night while I was up night time feeding for the first time ever it made me a little scared, having a kid makes you such a softy. I have lived here all my life & am used to storms like this, and I much prefer thunderstorms to snow...but that's because I've never felt scared of them...and now being responsible for LO's safety I wondered if we can hear the tornado siren at our house, if I should download a news app that alerts me if we're in a warning area...if I should get an emergency supply stash in the basement in case we need to camp out down there one night (fully finished basement). Am I the only one with new fears because of having a baby??
We also live in MN and when we got the terrible storms Monday evening I think, I asked my husband if we would even be able to hear the tornado sirens after my mom told me they were going off in her town about 15mins away. He said he didn't know, something I would never have really worried as much about before we had kids. We also don't have a full finished basement it's just dirt so we'd have to go to my MIL one block over. Our TV goes out in bad weather so I have to KTTC weather app to keep informed about what's going on. Downloading a weather app probably wouldn't be a bad idea!
Fuck 45 minute naps. Seriously. She goes down awake, white noise machine, etc and wakes up at 45 minutes like freaking clockwork and refuses to go back to sleep. I want my two hour naps back. I have SHIT TO DO.
@babycaps I'm here! Just being quiet/doing other things. The new lit journal I'm editing just opened for submissions so instead of drinking wine and bumping in the evenings, I am drinking and rejecting bad poetry. ;-)
Re: PLL I have never seen it and will continue to call Arthur A!
After lots of screaming... She fell asleep around 9 i think, then ate at 4, then got up at 8! Granted I didn't go To sleep right when she did and I pumped after she fell asleep at 4..... That was a lot of sleep! Hopefully today she's over whatever the screaming issue was ;(
DH used to do dishes. Lately he just leaves them on the counter along with any condiments he's used. It's making me a little crazy. I'm like, you see me running around like a crazy person every night trying to keep things put together and also take care of our child. Just put your damn dishes in the dishwasher.
I slept a little, but I need all the coffee. LO woke up more than usual too. I tried to keep our regular routine but I think she knew something was different without her daddy here.
FFTC: I've peed on a stick twice since I stopped taking the mini pill. My body does not like birth control, and I am terrified of getting pregnant. Pregnancy tests are cheap, and peace of mind is worth it. I'll likely be a crazy person until AF returns. ">
@amdecker1016@NanaCook
I will never forget when LO STTN. I miss those days... This sleep regression sucks. Andplusalso my DH is on nights and I too hate being alone in the house. But I'm going to laugh it off because who doesn't love a party at 12:30am and again at 3:30. there was poop everywhere at one point at least the dog got some sleep
@jsmath & @CHPhotoMama oh I had a PP period. So now I can start tracking things on my menstral app. But I didn't realize how close it was to my fertile days! ( So now I'm cursing my stubbornness.

This! Only we've been using condoms. I'm just scared i'll be the 1% that it doesn't work for!
45 min naps suck. Combine that with a pumping schedule that is once every three hours and I a) can get nothing done, be it around the house or on here, and b) am wiped.
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me. You made my wedding day complete.
I was sure I was going to be the boards first BFP. I took a pregnancy test in the bathroom of my office. I was so sure I'm still a bit surprised it was negative. (insanely relieved, but mainly to avoid the judgment of having 2 within a year.)
Buuut . . . . @woodshopgirl and @amholley1 - I knew I loved you ladies. I love love love greyhounds. I have a pinterest Drinks board that is entirely devoted to alcoholic drinks made with grapefruit. I may have had two last night . . .

I want to join this club too. I like the Simply Grapefruit.
Yessss. That is what I use for all of my imbibing needs.
babies had their 4 month shot today and they are now 1 hour into a nap IN.THIER.CRIBS!!
I thought they were bigger than they were, they actually have rolls where DS1 had none...they were 3rd and 5th% womp womp I was predicting around 30%. They look so close in size to other babies their age I can't figure out where these babies are that are throwing off the curve.
Also, Vincent lets his head lean to the right when he is tired and needs to go to PT to strengthen it.
I'm waiting on a PP AF so i can get mirena but it hasn't shown yet. I'm thinking that I need to POAS but I'm embarrassed to buy a pg test b/c I will have the twins with me. Would you side eye someone buying a pg test with 4 month old twins in tow???? Also, if I'm pg we would have 3u1...I love all the babies but that is just too much
someone really needs to get the first BFP so we all can quit worrying!
DH told me to bring the babies by his work yesterday and he would watch them while i worked out. They both started to fuss a little so this is what I came back to find...seeing the babies happy with their daddy makes me horny.
Do I need to wait for first AF to get Mirena? Hubby is supposed to get a vasectomy but hasn't so much as even looked up the number let alone made an appointment.

they said to come in on CD1. My OB that delivered the boys gave me some BC samples at 6 week PP and said I had to wait until 12 weeks PP to get mirena. Before I was 12 week PP we switched insurance and now we have Kaiser so I have to go to their doctors.
I went in for an appt and they said wait until CD1. They also wanted me to take the mini pill instead of the samples with hormones in it that previous doc had given me. Previous doc assured me the hormonal pills were fine with BFing and that since I was feeding the twins with no problem my supply was probably established and wouldn't be changed. Also, I was concerned about taking the mini pill at the same time b/c my brain is mush now.
but now that i'm on the mini pill, no AF...I should probably POAS, maybe I'll order from amazon so I don't have to get looks at the drug store.
@YankeePeach08 yay for naps in the crib! I hope the shots don't mess with them too much. We had issues for a few days here but now they seem to be back on track.

The bolded. I know in the long run it wouldn't be the end of the world to have kids this close together. Especially since we'll probably start trying again in May. But I feel like everyone in the world would be disapproving of having babies so close together in age.

Allison has taken 4 naps today, each for 45 mins. 3 of those were pumps for me, each of which needs a half an hour between set up, pump, hand express, and breakdown. So between getting a chance to go to the bathroom, trying to eat something besides Nutella and Ensure, and pumping, this is the first "real" break I've had today. I'm fucking exhausted and if DH is in a crappy mood when he gets home I might flip. I *should* be prepping dinner right now...I want a nap.

I've been cramping all month...
I refuse to POAS until next month.
Someone tell me its in my head.
