Hey! So I've never posted on here before, but I was looking for some advice. I'll start by saying that I have done a mix of child and parent-led weaning, and she has done wonderfully so far. I know I could continue, but for a few reasons, I do want to continue to wean.
I am currently breastfeeding my 20 month old twice a day - morning and night (sometimes after nap if she asks). She seems to nurse for a longer period of time in the morning than at night, and I'm pretty sure she gets more milk in the morning, too, based on what I pump when I have been away from her and how my breasts feel.
So, we are going to be out of town without her for about 5 days, and I'm trying to decide which feed to cut out so I only have to pump once a day. I'm thinking of cutting out the night feed, but I do like that on the days I work, I can still nurse her at night. I am gone before she wakes up, so we miss the morning feed - she gets a bottle at home. But, like I mentioned, I think she nurses longer in the morning and seems to be a little more relaxed in the morning.
I am torn on which feed to cut out first, and I was wondering if any of you have similar experiences at this age? Or if you have any suggestions, please! Also, when I do pump, I only get between 1-2 ounces, and I'm worried my supply won't stay up when I have to exclusively pump for that long.
Re: Weaning 20 month old
When I weaned my youngest at 16.5 months I cut the morning feed last, because it was his favorite. I would leave the favorite nursing for the very last.

At this point I would just do what feels most comfortable for you and let your body and your little one adjust. Feel free to stop pumping if you want. Keeping the bedtime nursing session was wonderful for me, and helped calm him before bed. Good luck and congrats for making it so far!
