Omg I am so nuts about names--I really want to post them because we aren't telling people IRL but on the other hand I am really nervous someone will "steal" them. Hahaha I need to get a grip.
Ok here goes: Girl: Josephine Marie not sure of nickname Boy: Edward James nn Teddy
We have sort of talked about it, but have no clue really what we would name a boy or girl. It looks like a lot of people already have ideas and maybe I am behind the ball. It seems like such a big decision. Any one else out there?
I don't think you're behind at all. There is plenty of time and some people might not even choose a name until after the baby's born. DH and I did decide to start a list of names just so that we have some time to try them on. I've already eliminated some names that I thought I loved after taking even just a few days with them. Thinking ahead can also help ensure that you don't accidentally end up with a weird combination or profane initials or something. But I don't think it's a requirement--it's probably also possible to overthink it, which is where I am right now!
At any rate, our names are all over the place.
Girl (me): Kinley, Azalea, Zinnia, Eisley, Mariella, Linnea Girl (DH): Gaia (I would like it as a MN), Adora, Sondra, Freya, Greta, Galiana Possible MN: Rosemary (after our moms, Roxanne and Mary)
Boys (me): Ryland, Leo (....Not really sold on any boy names TBH) Boys (DH): Cicero, Hadrian, Eamon (I think I could maybe live with Amon), Gideon, Anders Possible MN: Garrett/Garrison (family name)
I have a ton of girl names i love, but only a few boy names,. I really hope we have a boy first, but of course would be happy with a girl. I also want to have it where my kids have two middle names, as I have 2 middle names (Natalie Amber Jennae) and my mom has two middle names (Mara Angell Jeannine), but am finding it difficult to match boy names with two middle names...should we just go with the girls having two middle names?? It might be easier...
My husband and I have pretty much decided if it's a girl, well name her Brielle
I really love Brielle Ava LaRee (incorporating my great grandmas and my grandmothers names)
Or Brielle Katherine LaRee (with my mother in laws first name as an option)
I also really like Neveah Emily Jane, or Priya Dawn Jeannine
For a boy, I've always loved the name Matthias, and tom really likes Matthew. I however have convinced him that I love Matthias and it's a bit more unique, and we can still call him matt, or matty, etc. And I think he likes it..i can't really decide on what middle name(s) though...I also really like William and Noah for first names, and am starting to rethink whether I just want to consider Matthias as our first option..
So far I've come up with name combos of...Matthias Allan Paul, Noah Michael James, Noah Daryl James, or William Thomas Blayne..
I don't know if that's too much for a little guy to handle, and if we should just shorten it to one middle name. Most of the middle names (both boys and girls) are family names that I want to incorporate in somehow...feedback??
With our last boy my husband was hell-bent on Achilles. I refused. He still brings it up as an idea.
Are we married to the same man? Lol my DH is obessed with Achilles. As posted we already have Athena. Lol but I won with Avery. Idky but we just love it.
Not really. DH insists that we should name our kids with "B" names (like him and his brother), which I think is silly considering there are very few B names I would consider giving my child. I want to pick names I love, not just because of the letter they start with. So I'm pretty much holding out until he changes his mind, because he knows how much I dislike the idea.
In the meantime, I tell everyone that if I have a boy, his name will be Bjorn (our last name is Bjelland). Totally kidding btw!
@oboeodo we actually are waiting until we find out the sex, then we are going to pick 3 names and wait to see what we think fits after the baby is born.
Everyone seems to be asking the name question - I usually come up with a bizarre name or say our Dog's name (Thor) and they give me a funny look and drop the subject. There is still a lot of time left to decide.

My hubby and I are both pretty picky, so we narrowed down a short list right away. We love both Finley and Lorelei for a girl, Crew for a boy. There are some runner-up names on both lists that would likely become the middle name either way.
We won't discuss names until we know the sex, but I have a list going. Basically I do the hard work of looking through thousands of names and SO picks from the list of ones i already know I like. Middle name will be after family members so David (after my dad) if it's a boy and America (my grandma) or Joy (my mom) if it's a girl.
I started thinking about this right away, and I think DH and i actually agree....which is a shocker
For a boy (which i think this is) it'll be Holden Don (the middle name is after my dad) and for a girl it'll be Lucia Bella (we'll call her Lucy) or Alora Hope (DD is Emma Grace so we thought using Hope would be neat).
I had fun during last pregnancy telling people I'd name my daughter Snow (our last name is White) so I might play with that again - would never actually do it though!
DH refuses to discuss names before we find out what we are having. I like Sam for a boy and Ella for a girl though. We already have a Jack, so I like really classic names.
We've had a girl name picked out since before DS1 was born, but I'm suddenly doubting our choice. And, we've already picked out the perfect boy name if this baby turns out to be DS3. Apparently we're better at boy names, haha!
Re: Any Names Yet?
Ok here goes:
Girl: Josephine Marie not sure of nickname
Boy: Edward James nn Teddy

<p align="center"If it is a girl her name will be Delaney. If it is a boy I love Connor, but DH isn't 100% on board with my boy name.
If this is baby girl #3 she will be Annabelle. We are bouncing around a few middle names.
My girls: August 14, 2011 and December 5, 2013

Hah - my DH loves that name too!
Ours are Olive and Troy - no clue on middle names yet..
DS1 is Wyatt Thomas!! Obviously, I love your boy name
For a boy, we have no clue. So, just like last time when we didn't have one name picked out, I assume that means we'll be having a boy!
ETA middle name
Are we married to the same man? Lol my DH is obessed with Achilles. As posted we already have Athena. Lol but I won with Avery. Idky but we just love it.
Easy choice since it was our boy name the first time and both are family names.
Girl - Caroline Grace
Current choice but subject to change. It's harder to pick a girl name since we already have a girl.
Piper Jean (Jean is my late grandmothers name)
Robert Lane (My husband HAS to have another Robert, this will be 4 in a row on his side, and lane is a family name on his side as well),
We are team green so it will be a while before we find out what it is ;-)

If it's a girl, I like Mikayla, Holly, and Clara. Joyce will be the middle name after my mom.
