Hi ladies! Our first u/s is just a day away, at 9:30 am tomorrow. I should be 6w5d based on O date. I've remained pretty calm leading up to this and am still relatively calm, however I will take any T&P you can spare for a good u/s. We have never walked out of an u/s with good news, so I can't even begin to picture what it is like to see a flickering heartbeat or hear positive news.
DX: Septate Uterus. Septum resection 6/4/13

UPDATE: Thank you ladies for all of your well wishes. The appointment wasn't as good as we hoped it to be. The u/s tech measured me at 5w5d and didn't see a hb. The RE then came in to discuss and offered to do the u/s again, thankfully. He also measured at about 5w5d but was clearly able to see a flicker of a hb. He is not too optimistic considering we are pretty sure of when I O'ed, however he says stranger things have happened. I will be going back in a week to see what happens. DH and I are pretty numb at the moment, just not sure what to think. Its a paralyzing feeling to have to wait another week, especially when we know based on O date and the last time we had sex, the earliest I really could be is 6w3d. Any happy ending stories are welcome! Thanks ladies.
I'll continue to be repeating my PgAL mantras all evening and then all morning leading up to the appointment!

My RE used to say plus or minus 7 days is considered normal. Also remember you can be a bit behind based on how long implantation took.... plus they saw the HB. In short, focus on the positive.
I will give you all my T&Ps as you wait for the next U/S. So sorry this is so difficult right now.

A glimmer of hope..this happened to my girlfriend a few weeks ago. She went completely sure she would be at 6wks, 6days and her baby measured at 5wks 6 days. There was no sign of a heartbeat. They were so sad. They scheduled a follow up for the next week, but she was spotting, cramping and having a tough time so they rescheduled for the next Monday. For the ultrasound she was at 8wks 3days and measured right on track with a healthy heartbeat. She was completely shocked! Her morning sickness hit with a vengeance last week and she couldn't be more thrilled to be throwing up twice a day! Don't give up hope!
