Team Green birth story with lots of pics! (TonyaCody06)

On June 12th we went in at 5am for an elective induction at 39.2 weeks.
After 3 lunchtime deliveries I would never have guessed #4 would be an all day ordeal!
I should have known the day would be interesting when it took 3 nurses and 3 sticks to get my IV in. I have a nasty blown vein on my arm still.
5:30am- admission started
6:00am- IV attempts begin
6:30am- pitocin started, 1.5cm/50%
8:10am- water broke per OB, 3cm/75%/-2
9:00am- epidural started
11:45am- 4/75%/-1 pitocin only at 12mu
1:42pm- I announce this is officially my longest labor. Starting to get frustrated and anxious.
2:00pm- 5/80%/0 and finally at 20mu pitocin
3:30pm- 6/80%/0 begged nurse to ask OB for pitocin max of 30mu but he denied
5:00pm- 8/100%/+1
5:28pm- complete and +2
5:29pm- delivery team in room
5:32pm- Pushing started. Took only 1 push!
5:33pm- IT'S A GIRL! (Announced by my husband). 6lb 10oz 20"
I cried like a baby I was so happy with her arrival and that I got to use my perfect girl name... Georgia Rae (Ray is DH's MN we were saving to pass along to a boy).
My friend (a professional photographer) spent the day with us taking pictures. I only have a portion of them so far but they simply amaze me!
Enjoy the pics! This is my first baby with a head of hair!

Jan 9/14. Heard HB (124bpm) via Doppler at OB @ 16w3d irregular beat
Jan 29/14. DH felt kicks for first time @ 19w3d
Feb 2/14. Saw baby via ultrasound (quick scan in ER) @ 19w6d
Feb 6/14. Heard HB (126-134bpm) via Doppler @ 20w3d normal beat
Feb 15/14. AS - baby looked great (measured 1w small) and would NOT let us see sex! @ 21w5d
Feb 20/14 3D US - its a GIRL!!!!! @ 22w3d
Feb 27/14. Repeat AS for more pics, HB 124bpm @ 23w3d
Mar 6/14. Heard HB (130bpm) via Doppler @ 24w3d
IF, 5 losses, 1 son, 1 on the way.
