It was mentioned on the *missing mommas* post about the idea of starting a facebook group for us ladies. We all get along great, and some others (myself included) don't even check other boards because the posters can be very vicious. We all have a great vibe, and clearly from the fact that about 5 people were being searched for and found, we care enough about each other to worry when someone goes MIA, even just for a few weeks.
IMO, I'm comfortable enough with the ladies on here for you to know my full name (plus my fb doesn't have my phone number or address or any other really personal info on it), plus there's about a million of us that are part of the swagbucks email list which has quite a few real names on it anyway.
If you're comfortable with this and want to be a part of it, I volunteered myself to start the group, so PM me your real name and I will make the group tomorrow and find you to add you to it. This group is NOT to replace this board, but to keep in touch after our LOs are born (and we can always post stuff there now, too, if you want) and it'll be a lot easier to check an album of pictures as opposed to having to attach a million per post. If you're not into the idea, just don't send me your name, but if you are I will be starting it tomorrow.

Re: facebook group
My problem with a FB group is that anyone can look at this board and it becomes really easy for random internet people to find you on Facebook. That happened with my wedding board on TK. (And I'm extra paranoid about stuff like this.)

How would they find us by looking at this board? We are not broadcasting our real names on here-just in a PM.
You could tell who people were from their profile pics. Also, some people have part of their real names in their screen names here.

Somehow you create like a secret group. I can't remember how exactly it's done though.
Oh, yeah I guess that makes sense. Does it help that I have facebook set as private? People have to be accepted by me to even view my wall and info.
You go to "create group" on the left hand side, where it lists "News feed", "messages", etc...you'll see where it says Create Group.
But I don't have FB

I'm in a Private FB group for my fellow December 08' WTE babies. Its nice to see how everyone elses LO's are doing now. I don't know how exactly its set up, but only members of the group can see updates, pictures, etc. Its not even searchable through the FB groups database.
