Anything at all that you're proud of today, just to keep us all feeling like we're getting the hang of this mommy thing. I am proud that I brushed my teeth and had a shower this morning before baby woke up, and we had our first solo walk today in the stroller without daddy. Small things but with a two week old who only sleeps for two hours at a time, it's the little things!

Last night after DH fed him his MOTN bottle, DH must have put him down back in the crib just a bit too soon. Because LO woke up about 20mins after. So I went in there picked him up, and rocked him. I thought it was going to be one of those nights that it's going to take an hr to get him to go back to sleep. But nope! 10mins later LO was knocked out and slept until 6am. It was great!!

Went to my LC appt after Jackson got his tongue and lip ties repaired and it was great! He's taking in a lot more milk with feedings and latching better, plus he's finally not only back to his birthweight, but about 6oz heavier. I def feel an upswing after a few weeks of BF frustrations!

Dd was on a 4 hour stretch of straight baby mode last night. Wide awake until 1 a.m. Nothing was working! Just staring or swinging her arms. Took her to bed and fed her right in to a coma. Slept until 1-4! And the lady at Walgreens called her a "cute chunky baby" which I had noticed she got bigger but it felt good when someone called her chunky because I'm always wondering if she is getting enough breast milk

I gave DH a massage for father's day, which he is getting today. This means I have two kids to watch during the time. The other times I've parented without DH it has been chaotic. LO didn't want to be anywhere but my arms, DS1 got destructive and difficult, and the house looked ridiculously messy.

This time, I finally got DS2 to sleep in the rnp (he still screamed for a minute but it didn't take long to fall asleep while I got ds1 food), fed ds1, and picked up the living room and cleaned the living room. Oh and ds1 is happy.

Dd slept for almost 6 hours straight last night! I had to get up to pump at 6am BC she was still sleeping. I got 5 oz from one boob!

No shower yet, but I managed to figure out the ergo carrier, walk the dog with dd in said carrier, marinate chicken for dinner, do a load of laundry, shop for a new car, and watch Game of Thrones. Wins all around!

I scheduled a play date, organized her closet and she fell asleep 2x today after being wide awake instead of on the boob! Woohoo!
Plus I'm helping a friend with her shower registry with all my new mommy knowledge.

Baby slept for 4 hours straight again last night. Then I was able to unload the dishwasher, wash a bunch of bottles, reload dishwasher, put my new tablecloth on, do a few loads of laundry, meet DH for lunch, pump, and watch a few shows. DS was fussy today too which makes me wonder what I could have done if he were more chill today

DS2 slept from 9:30pm to 4:30am and it was amazing. I think it was a fluke but I am so happy I got decent sleep last night.

Today is the first day I have had both kids at home by myself and things have gone pretty well. I managed to take a shower and both kids have been fed and had naps. That is a big deal...lol.

I've been able to get DS to nap during this growth spurt. Even though he's been attached to my hip since Saturday night.

I had an awesome meeting with a LC today and think I have a plan for when I go back to work regarding my pump schedule...I am liking this thread btw,..it is nice to see our accomplishments

Maybe we can make this a weekly thing???

I tried out my k'tan for the first time today... I was super nervous. LO literally fell asleep within 2 seconds of being placed in it. I think we have a winner

I slept for 3.5 hours straight last night. Got in a long walk with LO in the Ergo this morning while I caught up with a friend on the phone. Got in a shower too. She is so fussy this evening and I managed to sing her lullabies until she finally fell asleep. Hoping her feeding I'm an hour goes well and she goes down ok. Fingers crossed!

I feel like I've had a few.

Saturday we went out our first shopping trip to the local outlet mall (I had my aunt with me) and we survived. Before that I took DD to get her hair cut, both kids alone, we survived.

The Pedi told me today that I'm doing an awesome job feeding Zachary because he's put on 9 oz in a week....chunky monkey.

I've showered everyday since DS arrived, even got out of the house before 8 some days (DD had surgery this morning so we had a few drs appointments in the last few weeks)

I colored my hair finally. It'd been at least 5 weeks since that's how old LO is and it was several weeks before her birth that I last colored it. Needless to say it needed it BAD. Goodbye unsightly grey roots!

I showered, did a load of laundry, unloaded the dishwasher, got in all 8 pumps and made strawberry muffins plus dinner. I feel the Martha Stewart right now.

Did four loads of laundry. Ran the dishwasher twice. Made potato salad. Made dinner. Took LO to his pedi appointment. Discretely nursed LO while talking to the pedi. Took a shower. And now I have a migraine (again) from lack of sleep. Tomorrow I'm chaining myself to the couch to nap. .. must resist the urge to accomplish anything.

I made it back to work full time, come home to 3 kids and I'm still alive.
It'll be great next week when kids are in camp/daycare and I get to drive all over the city to pick everyone up.

On sunday we had visitors (DH uncle and aunt) and LO became fussy at some point. So i picked him up and tried to calm him down but he was searching for a boob so i knew he was hungry. At that point DH's aunt says: "let me hold him for a minute". I told her he must be hungry but I let her hold him and she says "oh poor baby they dont know how to hold you up right. Let me do it". I thought that was very rude of her. In the meantime baby stopped crying for a minute and i was silently begging for crying to begin again. After 30 seconds LO started screaming and I got to tell her "i told u so. I know my baby!!"

DS has slept for 6 hours for 3 out of the last 4 nights, I thought it was a fluke the first time but FX it's the start of something new. I've managed to shower every day since he was born just because I got lucky and he loves to sit in his bouncy chair so he just sits in that in the bathroom while I shower. And just this past weekend I've been able to put him down awake at night and he puts himself to sleep. Still haven't been able to make dinner once in the last 4 weeks and I don't get lunch half the time but I feel like we're getting there.

So far today, I have washed some bottles, folded LO laundry, threw in a load of towels, showered and straightened my hair, fed the dogs. And it's only noon time!! Also throw in there 2 feedings, play time on the mat, and tummy time on my chest.

I feel like I have quite a few wins!!

I have showered and gotten dressed with make up everyday since DD was born.

DH went back to work at 2 weeks and ive been able to watch both DD and DS1 (2.5 years old) run errands keep the house straight and figure out a schedule without killing anyone or burning the house down.

To top off this week I'm finally potty training DS. It's happening and there's no going back!!

It's funny because with DS it was a cold day in hell for me to shower and or get dressed let alone stay on top of anything during my maternity leave. Crazy how things change!

During DS's latest nap I have washed bottles, loaded and ran the dishwasher, am on my 4th load of laundry, ate lunch, picked up the house and now have some down time to relax and watch TV.

I pumped for freezer supply, cleaned the kitchen, made breakfast, got LO in the moby without her screaming and vacuumed. A much better day than yesterday when all she did was scream if I wasn't holding and/or nursing her.

Yesterday I drove with LO in the car by myself, and she was fine! While wearing pre pregnancy jeans. Awesome!

I did this on Sunday! The waitress complimented me on my multitasking abilities!! I wish I could say I've showered every day since DD was born but not so.... Most days! Though have only done makeup twice...
