What made you take a test?

A few days late and headed to an out of town family reunion where I would have been drinking. Glad I tested before the weekend!!!

I went on vacation to myrtle beach and felt sick the whole time and sharp pains in my ovary area oh I constantly going to the restroom. Took a test the day of my missed period and instantly showed up positive took a second one later and positive. So we r expecting our second child :x

We were TTC, and we were taking my dad on a winery and distillery tour day for his birthday, so I wanted to test just in case. And it was positive! :-D

We were on a beach vacation with my whole extended family and my stomach continually felt upset. Initially I thought it was just the food we were eating, but then my period never came. We left our vacation early and I took the test as soon as we got home. The funny thing is we had decided this month to make an appointment with the doctor since we'd been trying without success for a while--now we're going to the doctor because I tested positive!

I had some symptoms but just had a feeling! Woke up early took a test it said pregnant so I put it in the envelope with my husbands Father's Day card and had my son hand it to him!

We did IVF and there was no way I was making it until beta! I tested earlier than I planned because I thought I was still testing out my trigger but the line came back so quick and just kept getting darker.

I had temped in past months but took this month off, so even though I didn't know exactly what dpo I was I thought if I was pregnant I should be able to turn a test on Father's Day. Sure enough!

I was late but I've been over a week late 3 times I'm the last few years so I was waiting that out. The hubs and I went to eat at Olive Garden and on the way home I fell asleep in the car! Which was definitely a sign it wasn't one of those week late flux! So took a test the next day while hubs was at work. BFP

and I made a card for the hubs to announce it to him. It's our first so I wanted the way he found out to be special for him

which is why I didn't take the test the night of the dinner. We weren't trying, so our little peanut was a surprise. A very amazing surprise!

Charting. Looked like I might have had an implantation dip. I would have waited until I was late, but I had an EOY faculty party with alcohol the day AF was due and didn't want to take any chances.

I was 12 DPO after IUI #3 and was going downtown that day anyway, so I tested just in case so I could go in for a beta. Two lines!

It was Father's Day, and I always thought it would be romantic to tell DH he was becoming a father on Father's Day. So on a whim I took a test, my period wasn't supposed to start for another day, and it was positive! Surprise! This is my first. We got married last month and didn't expel for it to happen this fast!

It was our first month trying so I wasn't holding my breath, but I was approx 9 DPO and was curious. Saw the faintest line and couldn't believe it. Went out with SIL, bought a bunch of digis, and BAM! Those were positive with afternoon urine. I knew it was true then!

I was constipated which is very unusual, my cramps were random and not consistent like normal, and when af didn't show by 11am I knew I had to be. Bought a cheap pt and voila BFP!

My boobs were sore for 5 days before I took the test, also waking up in the night to pee which isn't normal. Wasn't expecting a positive but very excited for it, TTC for 3.5 years for #2!

I think my story is hilarious actually. My period is like clockwork, but I stopped charting FOREVER ago. Our first pregnancy (and loss) was almost four years ago, so charting seemed to be WAY too stressful. We went to the fertility specialist and went through the LOADS of tests. I was told (via voicemail - - a whole other story) that my bloodwork indicated that I'd go into menopause early (I'm now 35).

When my period didn't show and was 3 days late, I was a B*TCH, cussing life because here comes the early menopause at 35. Day 4, I started to wonder if we'd had what we refer to as our "beach trip miracles". Day 5, I tested, thinking I was losing my mind and overthinking the whole thing. Needless to say, it was positive and we are having TWINS. Life's crazy!!!
