My fingers are already swelling so bad I'm taking my wedding ring off. Last time I waited until I had to soak my finger in windex. Think I'll go to charming Charlie's and pick out a fun fake till the baby is born

Mine is starting to cut into my finger.
So I have been leaving it off. I thought about a fake one. But if someone had a problem with me not showing I am married and pregnant. Well they can get over it. God, H, & I all know. So that is what matters.

I haven't worn mine for weeks. No fakes for me, I just don't care enough what other people think, and I'm perfectly comfortable without them.

I've had my wedding band off since the beginning. I was getting eczema under neath it ,and it was just uncomfortable. My engagement ring is a half or full size larger though, so it's still on and doing pretty well. I can tell when I need to drink more water though because it starts to get uncomfortable.

Last time I picked up a Claddagh ring to wear when the swelling picked up. I'll switch to that in a few weeks probably.

A word of caution, if your rings start to get bit tight, just take them off. A girl on my first BMB had to have her rings cut off because she swelled so suddenly she just couldn't get them off.

I took mine off a few weeks ago too because they were starting to get tight. I got a fake one off of overstock.com. I didn't get a fake one because of what other people think, I got it because I feel more comfortable wearing it.

I woke up in the middle of the night a few weeks ago with my finger hurting so bad from my ring. I couldn't get it off, tried running water over it, still wasn't happening. I ended up sticking my finger in butter and sliding it off lol. I only put it back on to wear to my husbands grandmothers funeral and it's been in my jewelry box since. Last pregnancy I had it resized but I'm not going to bother, everyone knows we're married.

I traveled to Europe for a while, and took my ring off before I went (I didn't want to lose it), I bought a fake ring to wear. Haven't switched back yet. Figure my fingers may swell and I don't want to cut my real ring off.

I had to take off my rings in the 1 tri. I think I'm allergic to them or something. It looks like eczema is on my finger now and it won't go away. Hopefully it will go away after I give birth.

My rings came off at the beginning of 2nd tri. We had a heat wave come through and my rings became tight (my fingers normally swell a bit in the summer). I figured it was better to just leave them off from then on.

With my first, I made it until third tri before I had to take my wedding ring off. I noticed Saturday it was tight, so I've left it off from now on. On a whim, I hopped on a scale... yea I am a lil over half way through this pregnancy and I am within 10 lbs of what I weighed days before birthing lo... That explains a lot...

My ring was a little large to begin with. I've actually noticed it's a little tighter and there's a ring mark on my finger so I might be nearing the point of taking it off. I'll probably wear one that I wear on my middle finger a lot. Maybe get a fancy fake one. I just feel anxious without my wedding ring. It's kind of become like a security blanket because DH was gone so much throughout our marriage. I only wear mine at work though. It comes off as soon as I get home every evening. I don't sleep in jewelry.
