After almost 5 years ttc, I was finally able to get pregnant (follistim +iui).
I had my first ultrasound at 5.5 weeks to make sure the implantation was good and the sac was present. It was not. The doc said it might be too early, my betas were on the lower side but he warned me the risks with ectopic since they couldn't locate the sac.
I had two additional follow up ultrasound and raising betas but still could not find the sac.
This morning I had emergency 'preventative' surgery that included laproscopy to get the embryo out of my tube and a D &C. I am heartbroken... but recovery is going better than I anticipated. Best of all, my tube was saved.
I am not sure what all is in store for the next couple of days, or my next cycle. I know this could have turned out much worse so I am trying to be thankful and think positively.
I am so sorry that each of us finds ourselves here. Hopefully together we can take steps towards healing.
