Hello ladies!! :-) it's soon time that my husband & I will be setting up our little guys registry(ies). Just curious, where does everyone plan to register?
With DS1 we did BRU and Target. I wish I had skipped the BRU one. It was a hassle for most people, not very convenient location wise and people could not figure out how to get things marked off the registry after they purchased stuff so I would get calls, "Hey can you take this off your registry, I just bought it".
I started a secret one on Amazon so i could read reviews and compare products eaiser. I was going to transfer it To BRU but the prices are better on Amazon even with shipping for quite a few things. So I am going to do both I think. I really like some of the beddingand nursey accessories on BBB's and Pottery Barn Kids website so I think I might just do that stuff on my own.
We registered at Target and Amazon. Even though we'll be telling people about both of them, the Amazon one is more of a list for us, because I don't expect that anyone will order a shower gift online.
Amazon since we have lots of far-away relatives & it's much less expensive than BRU or BBB. And Target for people here for easy shopping for shower gifts.
We're registered at BRU and plan to register at Target. I'm going to do some price comparisons and take things off of the BRU registry that are more affordable at Target. We're also thinking of making a short wishlist on thinkgeek.com but I'm not sure if I really want to water down our registry with a bunch of cute geeky onsies or not.
I have a secret one on Amazon so I can compare items and then if need be I can order them at a discount. But for friends and family we did BRU since its convenient for everyone BBB is not near here
I think Buy buy baby. We have returns from our wedding registry at bed bath and beyond. All credit at either store can be used at the other. Which is great. Going to turn my unnecessary hand mixers into diapers.

We are doing Babies R Us, BuyBuyBaby and Amazon (and a secret one on Etsy that only a few people know about). I prefer BBB over BRU and for most of my family there is one or the other nearby. Amazon is great because there are still things that I would like that I can't get elsewhere (especially since we're cloth diapering and the variety isn't great at BBB or BRU).
Re: It's soon registry time!!
Target seemed much easier for people to navigate.
