no plans for me...i work till 11pm, maybe i will be able to stay up to watch the ball drop since i have to work that late anyways. my normal bed time is about 9pm..lol.
i am feeling a little better, still dry heaving and really hungry and tired, but i dont feel as nasty as i have been...hopefully thats a good thing! Next appt is Jan 15th. NT Scan is Jan 23rd.

Wednesday QOTD: Any exciting plans for tonight?
Not that we know of, LOL. we are new to the state and town so we only know a handful of people. plus being pregnant, i dont see anyone inviting us to a hot party, lol. we live in pleasantville - no one parties.?
Friends of ours are having a party. I will be DD and hope to be out of there around 1215. Staying up later than 8pm is becoming very difficult.
Oh and the sight and smell of alcohol makes me want to vomit.
Should be good times... lol
Hi Ladies! Morning sickness kicked in a little today (which I don't necessarily mind since my lack of symptoms was making me paranoid).
Tonight we are going to NYC (i know, i know, im nuts!). We are doing dinner and drinks with another couple at a Latin restaurant. They have a DJ there tonight and are staying open till 3 am so I am sure it's going to be an exhausting night. I hope everyone has fun ringing in the new year! Cheers to 2009 babies!
couldn't fall asleep last night~ and when i did, kept waking up and not being able to fall back asleep....it sucked.... hot....cold.....hot.....cold.....hot.....cold- now i am tired and at work and i just hate being at work
but other than that...i feel ok... i am getting an appetite now and find myself hungrier than usual and more often...
no wonderful plans tonight- i woke up this morning and thought how nice it is that we are typically losers on new years (and don't do anything even when not pg) so i can relax and do nothing- he has to work til 8ish anyways then we go over his dad's to have chinese, watch the ball drop then have champagne (the one thing i won't be doing this year tho
) nothing crazy tho!
QOTD: No exciting plans. We are going to friends' house I think just to snack, hang out, and watch TV with them.
I feel good, slept a lot last night. I'm hungry for second breakfast already - first breakfast was an hour and a half ago.?

We are going to a cocktail party tonight but I doubt I'll make it to midnight!!
I also answered on the other board,
but we are just going out to dinner with some friends then coming back to our house for game night and watch the ball drop... I havent told any of my friends that Im expecting yet and I probably wont until a couple of more weeks so its going to be interesting, to dodge or pretend the whole drinking thing!
QOTD: Going to hang out with family tonight, get to spread the news some more to cousins and friends, looking forward to that, but may take a nap before midnight.
Feeling better today than the last few days at this time. A little queasy early this morning, but other than that, nothing new.
My DH and I closed on our new home yesterday, and we're so so so excited! Yay for all kinds of good things in 2008, and a great 2009 to come! Congrats to all '09 moms out there!

We're catching up with friends and going to their house. We have a friend who is home (he is in the military) so we'll spend time with him too.
Winter vacation is almost over... no more sleeping until 9am. Going back to work is going to be a shock to the system!

QOTD - No real plans for the nights. We've told some of our friends they can come over here and hang out with us if they want to, but that's about it.
Good Morning and Happy New Years Eve everyone!
QOTD: We're going to a friend's house party tonight. We haven't told anyone the news yet, so i'm trying to figure out a way that looks like i'm drinking without actually drinking.
Heres my plan: I normally bring coke and a water bottle with rum in it to parties. So tonight, I'm going to bring some sodas and a water bottle (with a little "R" onthe top) with water to the party tonight and make it look like i'm mixing myself drinks. LOL
No morning sickness for me yet, but i have my first doctors appt next week.
Just dinner and a movie for us, then watching the ball drop if I make it that long!
Finally got a hold of the nurse at the OB's office to get my confirmation bloodwork results - positive! I knew from the multiple HPTs, but it was nice to hear. Also learned that I'll only get one U/S at 20ish weeks.
First appointment is Jan. 23rd. I'm still really nauseous all day every day, but not throwing up yet, so I'm glad for that.

QOTD: We are going to dinner tonight with friends. Reservations are at 7:30 so I am hoping to be able to make it until midnight. First new years since i turned 21 that I will not be drinking. And actually the thought of alcohol makes me sick right now anyway.

No exciting plans for me tonight. We are getting a lot of snow right now so DH is out plowing. That will probably continue until later tonight. We got invited to a New Years Party, which is usually a lot of fun. BUT I have no desire to go and socialize. This past week has been so hard with M/S which lasts alll day!! So I'm looking forward to staying home and cuddling with my cat, Bella!
I think I may be a week ahead of myself in my due date. However, I'm not going to change it now. I'm going to wait until next week when I have my first OB appt.

Wednesday QOTD: Any exciting plans for tonight?
We've cancelled our original plans which involved a lot of alcohol, parties and a hotel room. I am too sick and tired to stay out all night and of course can't drink. SO we are keeping the kids with us and going out to dinner as a family. Then, we will toast the new year at home with sparkling apple cider and a few mocktails.
Baking Blog
No big plans. We've been asked to do a bunch of different things but I told DH I'd rather stay home this year. I already feel yucky and don't feel like faking being happy tonight when all I know I'll want to do is lay on the couch and sleep. So not sure what we'll be doing.
Everything is going well. M/S finally set in and I feel carsick all day long. And if I need food... I need it now!!!!
I hopefully will be getting my first u/s on Sunday through a friend so I'm excited for that. Considering the OB office doesn't do them til 20 weeks... not sure I can last that long!!

As far as I know... we are going to stop by my uncles pizza shop for a private little family thing to eat some yummy italian food and then maybe going to a friends house or two. I am going to need a nap this afternoon to make it to midnight. Lately I haven't been able to stay up past 8!

Well I had a pretty big nose and had a nose job when I was in my 20's. I really hope the baby gets dh's nose. My husband had some cystic thing when he was a teen that left some scaring, he got it from his dad, I hope the baby doesn't get that either.
Of course, I will love my baby regardless.

eh, just having some friends over, nothing too exciting.
Good morning ladies! Happy New Year to all of you!
I don't have any big plans for the night. DH and I are heading out for a nice early dinner around 4, in order to beat the rush. Then we're going over to my uncle's house with my mom to play some board games and just relax.
I have to say, this is the first time I've every been excited for the year to come. August just can't get here soon enough!

I am reallly hoping to get out of work early, because it is snowing insanely here. I was originally told that I had to stay until 5, because I work for a non-profit and had to be here "just incase" someone needed to make a last minute donation. But, its nasty out and my coworker Donna (who has more tenure than me) is saying she wants to leave early and doesnt want to stay... So say a little prayer for me!
Nothing terribly exciting happening at our house tonight. My DH who is a forensic scientist is on call for crime scene, so that means no alcohol whatsoever in our house tonight. We also have my 9 year old stepson with us, so we will most likely have spaghetti, wings and celebrate with a cup of bubbly Sprite! I might also try and hit the video store.
I am feeling really good this week. I haven't had any m/s or heartburn, which is great. I can actually eat some yummy stuff again. Yeah.
No big plans. I think we are going to stay in and watch movies and then count down the new year...thats if I can stay awake that long...haven't made it past 9pm yet this week.
