Last night after an NT scan where our little one was bending its legs to its chest, waving hello, and making fishy lips at us, we went out to PF Chang's for dinner to celebrate. We sat at a community table and about half-way through our meal, another couple joined us at the other end. They were there celebrating their 3 year anniversary. They also happened to be NY Ranger fans - just like my DH. After we got our check, while they were still waiting for their food, my husband called our waitress over and asked her to add the Great Wall of Chocolate dessert to our bill, but to bring it to that couple after we had left and they finished their meal. The waitress was in awe of how sweet and thoughtful my husband was being. He did it all on the DL and no one but me and the waitress had a clue what was happening. I just left their smiling hoping our LO grows up to be just like his or her daddy -- doing nice things for others where you know they cannot repay your act of kindness.
My nosey nature wishes I had been able to hide and watch the couple's reaction when their surprise anniversary dessert arrived, but it still makes me happy thinking about how great he is and if he is this good to strangers, I can't wait to see how he is with your LO come December. I feel very blessed he picked me to spend his life with and start a family with. Ok - I'm done. Thanks!!!
It's a Boy! Can't wait to meet the newest man in my life!
