Need your best ideas - keeping sick 27mo occupied

DD has HFMD and is beyond cranky and totally willful. On top of it we have a 5 week old that I'm desperately trying to keep from getting it (though I know that ship may have sailed). I will be alone with them next week while DH is at work. I need ideas on how to keep her busy while she's feeling crummy. She is really active and has a short attention span. We don't normally do tv but we may have to start... She is already still upset from the new baby taking all of my time, and now she can't touch him or snot all over me if I'm holding him. Poor kid is just miserable and I'm dreading Monday!!! I can't even take them anywhere except for maybe a stroller walk where at least one of them is guaranteed to be screaming. Help please!! Sorry for whining.

Thanks. We have all of these and they each keep her entertained for 5 minutes max on a really good day.

  • Oatmeal baths with extra toys?  Pinterest has recipes for bathtub paint.
Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Bubble baths with rubber duckies...? That would entertain my kids for an hour, if I let them stay in that long.

Movies! If you have cable channels, Curious George movie is on HBO on demand, and Planes and Monsters University are on Starz.

New toys...Magformers, Lincoln Logs, or Legos are usually good for holding attention.
