Realistic-dream: For our 30th birthdays, we were supposed to take a week at a resort in Vail or Breckenridge snowboarding. Well, life, so we didn't do it this year. Hoping to do it for our 31st. (I say "our" bc DH is only a month younger than I am).

I do not like gardening. If dill were growing in the weeds in my backyard, I would have no idea. so I would c) google the answer and it would tell me to "harvest the entire plant" when it begins to flower in late spring.

Well, our last name starts with H, we conceived in a town with the initials NRH so DH thought it would be funny if we gave DS the initials NRH. We live in TX so Nolan Ryan is everywhere so I jokingly said, "how about Nolan Ryan?" We laughed, then both said, "no, but for realz, I like that name" and it stuck.

FTR, his middle name is not Ryan.

Bridget (sp?) bc she is so different from DS (an adorable tiny girl as opposed to a giant handsome boy) and bc as I said, love her name. I'm sure @missgpsu will not give her up, though

I do not know who I am voting for. I'm probably more conservative than some on this board...fiscally conservative, socially liberal.

I generally like myself, but I dislike that the way I say things can be taken offensively by people when I mean no offense. It has gotten me into trouble my whole life, and it is an incredibly difficult thing to change. I like that I am well educated.

About DH, I love his sense of humor, his generosity, and that he just "gets" me (see above, not everyone "gets" me). I guess I would prefer if he were a little more cautious like me? But I think two of me in the same house would be too much, so I probably wouldn't even change that.
