I'm up with the bug, who has been awake since 4:30 again. I told you all this was going to happen!! She's a hot mess I tell you...currently "talking" at the top of her lungs.
My LO is an angel and is sleeping (for now)....my jerk cats on the other hand think it's breakfast time. And DH keeps hitting snooze on his alarm. It drives me effing crazy.. just set the alarm later if you're just going to keep hitting snooze for an hour. :-w
I was lazy this morning and have been sitting on my couch with my coffee catching up on bumping. Everyone is sleeping and its quiet and glorious, but I have to leave the house in 30 min and im not dressed yet. I'm sure this means one of the boys will wake up.
@codypup You're not alone. My LO wakes up by 4:30 every morning and has since he was about 8 weeks old. Sometimes I have to be at work by 6 so it ends up working out but when I don't it sucks majorly!
@elf828 Happy happy birthday!!! Hope its wonderful. @BlueDot818 Enjoy your friend time
Sooooo neither one of my boys woke up so I'm off to work without my morning snuggles. I see a grumpy teacher day in my future. I wonder if it has anything to do that they both turned themselves a complete 180 in their bed/crib...
President Obama is speaking at a high school graduation on the city I work in today. It's my hometown, so I'm incredibly proud of the attention it's getting... not so thrilled with the traffic situation it's going to cause right when I have to get LO at DC. Thinking I need to leave work early and hoping my boss doesn't kill me!

My Wedding Bio from back in the day
Of course both girls are sleeping in today because I have to get out the door to get blood drawn at 8:15. Any other day they'd both be awake by now! I hate waking sleeping babies.
Also feeling very proud of myself because I cleaned the you know what out of my house yesterday. Clean house = happy MamaA. Here's a little AW picture of a project I finished too. Spice racks from ikea that I painted and hung in the girls' playroom!
So for the past 2 nights I have been unable to soothe DD; usually she is out by/ before 8 and goes down easy. She is also a crying, screaming, tired mess throughout the day . Is this the 4 month sleep regression?! When does it end?! I am on day 2 and am about to lose my shiz! Heeeeeeelppppp!!!!!
@Codypup does she cry, or just talk? LO talks to himself in the early morning, typically around that time. Hr never cries, and puts himself back to sleep after 15 minutes. He's not rolling yet.
She talk-cries? Like a very loud complaint about her life. It eventually turns into real crying, never sleep, unfortunately.
My H took over at 5:45, just as W was falling back asleep. She slept until about 7.
And now my H is feeding her and she let out the biggest, nastiest sounding poop I have ever heard in my life. Too bad I'm pumping and can't help!! Bahhahaa
Enjoy showing your pal around @bluedot818. Sorry you aren't going to have great weather, but I bet she just wants to play with T and catch up anyway!
Just wanted to update the cow names. Our little lady is Felicia, I am pretty sure to everyone's enjoyment. DH wouldn't approve PooPoo Napkyn...so I suggested Pooh Bear, which he approved. Now every time I call him Pooh, I will secretly be calling him poopoo napkyn in my head. :-)

Today is mine and DH's 9th anniversary :x No big plans for today, but tomorrow night we are going to a special preview of the Chihuly exhibit at the botanic gardens, complete with "interactive food stations" and local beer and wine. I'm so excited for a night out!

You must've been at my house this morning! Baby was peacefully asleep, cat was at the bedroom door crying to be feed, and DH was ignoring his alarm. That alarm thing annoys me so much.
@futuremrswinfree We dealt with that a few weeks ago, and what worked was totally counter-intuitive. We actually would put her down still kind of whimpering and awake, then sit in the glider and just talk to her (so she knew we were there). She actually was much happier just self-soothing! Thanks! I think one if our big (HUGE!) problems is that she doesn't "do" self-soothing. And that her bedtime may be too late. Ugh. Just when I thought I had it kinda figured out....
I am working from home today, yay! I drove around town after I dropped DS1 at the bus stop so LO would fall asleep. He was up a LOT last night and a good ride in the car always knocks him out. So I stopped and grabbed a tea, turned on NPR and cruised around until I saw his eyes close. 2 minutes away from home I feel this creepy crawly feeling on my arm... Yup a spider. So of course I yell like a girl and smack it off my arm. This startles LO awake and the crying begins. Its going to be a long day.
I'm debating taking a shower. It's Field Day at school so I'm going to be sticky and sweaty from about 8:30 to 1:00 anyway. Hmm....
@elf828 it's my birthday too, happy birthday!
I just tried to do some pics of LO wearing a "grandpa's little sidekick" onesie for a Father's Day project. In a matter of about 8 minutes, LO drooled, spit up, and poopsploded on the onesie. Hope my dad likes the mediocre pic I got because this onesie is wrecked.
today we're taking some of the special ed kids to go bowling. ( @CiaoMama bet you can guess where we are!) I'm mainly going for the pizza. also, I'm too lazy to search for it in yesterday randoms but those mesh crib bumpers are seriously harder than a Rubik's cube!
Reece suddenly likes his Mamaroo! We were about to sell it and I'm so glad we didn't! I have no idea why he suddenly changed his mind, but I'll take it

I have those for my 3yo's books. I absolutely love how it looks! My DH is a union carpenter (when he has his sh!t together) and he actually made them for me a while back with this really awesome wood instead of just buying the spice racks. Pinterest inspired idea, of course. I love yours though! Very nice.
Now, in 3 days, get back to me about the "OMG, I'm on my stomach, why am I here, I HATE TUMMY TIME HALPPP ME!!!!!!!!!!" screech that's sure to come. ;-)
Things I am not even attempting today: 1. Putting LO in crib for naptime. If he wakes up after 40 minutes and thinks nap is over, I'd be devastated. I know if he naps on me, he'll be down until 4.
2. Dinner. Thank you wegmans for rotisserie chicken and orzo salad. You're the best.
3. Going ac-less. It's too humid and there is too much gd pollen. So much for a month without heat/ac.
I was sitting here with LO cuddling on my lap, thinking of how much I love her and started tearing up. Then she lets out the most massive fart and has a poop explosion. True love.
LO and I were out running errands and I realized I didn't have anything for lunch so I picked up a sandwich and chips at the deli. I got home at 11:15 and was starving but didn't want to eat lunch yet so I looked for something in the fridge and noticed I had turkey I needed to use up before we go OOT so I made a turkey sandwich and ate it. And I'll have my deli sandwich soon. Like at noon.

My Father's Day book came from Shutterfly, and it is THE CUTEST EVER. I just love it.
It also came with one of those wine coupons. I don't think I can get cases shipped to me, because my state is run by idiots. I need to research this. Would it be wrong to have it shipped to DH's grandma in Ohio?
@bookshelves its $100 worth of wine...ship it to grandma!!!

@armalan12 YAY!!!!! All of a sudden we're rolling a lot here too
LO is also much fussier than usual. The only thing that seems to help is sitting in his swing while I sing along to Jimmy Buffet. Poor DH is losing all of his punk rock cred.
I miss having a pregnant belly that I wasn't self conscious about. I hate always looking in the mirror and wondering if people will ask when I'm due... but also too tired/lazy to work out. why can't I get the same results if I daydream about working out?
