Had our 15 month appointment today.  We have been waiting to contact EI because we wanted to make sure DD would qualify for services and at 12 months it looked like she was right on the brink.  Now at 15 months their standard is 6 words and she still does not have any and is showing a delay with understanding language as well.  My pedi gave me the go ahead to call and we will go from there.  I feel so relieved that we are finally going to take steps to figure out what is going on and get DD what she needs.

    Poppy, she's lucky to have you as her mommy. Good for you for reaching out and getting to the bottom of what's going on. She's probably just fine and taking her time. :)

    Thanks ladies :) I am nervous and sad that DD is having trouble but I am so relieved that we are finally doing something about it. I will definitely give and update. DC, keep us updated on Rhys as well!
