Wow, that is A LOT to go through. I'm so sorry you've had such a hard road. It's good that you have SOME IF coverage, sometimes it only takes 1 IVF cycles, sometimes it does take more- it's all a crap shoot.

I'm sorry you have been diagnosed with MFI and endo. hopefully your lap cleaned a lot of it out.

i should tell you i'm a nurse and i am curious about people's health issues/histories... so forgive my next lines of questions: i've never heard of tubes being alternately blocked... blockages are caused by scar tissue, it's not like the tissue grows and then disappears and suddenly the tube is now unblocked. did they essentially do an HSG during your lap to determine that your other tube was now in fact blocked?

i'm curious to know what your doctor said regarding removing your xiphoid process. i can't fathom why the xiphoid process would ever prevent someone from getting pregnant. it sounds like you've had quite a lot of medical mismanagement in the past, hopefully you are now being treated by someone who knows what they are doing.

how chaotic was your scheduled laparascopy? did a catastrophic event occur and the doctors were scrambling to save you (i.e. bleeding out)? i can't imagine trusting a physician who very well can't keep straight which of my organs is abnormal. good thing you weren't letting him remove a tube. he probably would accidentally take out your uterus. or your brain. maybe he did?

the headline of your post is quite accurate. going insane. i'm going insane trying to believe any of this 9298376 page novel is true. you had an appy instead of being treated for bowel infection and somehow the gas in your belly caused your vertebrae to jump out of place? and then spent two years with a prolapsed disc before getting treatment? then you had 44lbs of adhesions removed from the botched appy? FORTY FOUR?? that's what 20 kilos is in case math escapes everyone. your tubes alternate being blocked? your tiny rib bone caused so much pain you couldn't eat and lost nearly 20lb?

i'm just baffled here. maybe i'm the only one but i call bullshit.

While you may know well where the Xiphoid is located, you do not seem to know much beyond this. I would not expect you to however, as you are after all a nurse and not a Doctor. The sentence I am a nurse on the internet is as much laughable as you find Google btw. It is like going around saying "I am studying to be a doctor!". On another forum the other day a nurse told a user the wrong location to place an injection. Goes to show how great nurses can be at giving advice (and also how stupid some people can be to believe them).
