1st Time Mommys??

Hey all! 
My husband & I decided to TTC in May & voila.. first try! Woohoo! 
I am still in shock. My husband is on an autoimmune suppresant that lowers his sperm count and infertility runs in my family. So we consider ourselves VERY blessed!

Any other excited/nervous first time mommy's?

    A/S findings: Baby is a girl! EIF found on heart :( but maternit21 came back neg for chromosome disorders!!

    Congrats! I'm in the same boat! Excited and nervous! I went off the pill at the end of March, didn't really try in April and got pregnant in May. We are feeling so incredibly blessed! :D

    Another FTM here.  I have been patiently waiting for DH to be ready for 2.5 yrs now and here we are!

    Welcome and congrats!

    FTM here too!  We decided to "not try but not prevent" in late February and 2.5 months later, BFP!  Nervous, excited, scared out of my mind, feeling so blessed!  I can't even put to words all of the things I'm feeling.  The thought of MC has me very worried but I'm trying to live in the moment and remember that there is really nothing I can do but make healthy choices and have faith.  

    Happy to have this board to go to when I feel like I'm going crazy :)

    IUI #1 January - Clomid, Ovidrel: BFN
    IUI #2 February - Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel: BFP 1st beta-25, 2nd beta-56, 3rd beta-45, miscarriage
    IUI #3 April - CD3 U/S 4-10. Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel CD11 - Cancelled.. TI w/5 follicles-BFN
    IUI #3.1 May - CD3 U/S 5-6, Follistim start 5-11 thru 5-17, u/s 5-18 3 mature w/ a close 4th, IUI 5-20 - BFP!
                 Beta #1 12dpo - 164 & progesterone - 89!, Beta #2 16 dpo - 1189, 5w3d - u/s shows TWINS!
                 6/19- u/s showed heartbeats! Baby A 111 & Baby B 118, both measuring 6w1d
                 7/3- Baby A hb 170, Baby B hb 166 - both measuring perfect.
                 7/18 - Baby A 165, Baby B 171 - both measuring right on track & moving all around!

    FTM also! I stopped BCP in March, had one cycle in April and got pregnant in May!

    It's a wonderful scary! Congratulations and H&H 9 months!

    Welcome and Congrats! I'm a FTM too! This was only my second cycle off of the pill too and BAM pregnant! Very blessed.

    I'm a first time mom as well!  I am 26 years old. I went off BC 6 months ago... and we seriously "tried" for one month unsuccessful and then we decided to hold off for financial reasons knowing that it was possible because we weren't using any protection... we wanted to just take it slow and not overthink it anyway. Then low and behold on our First Wedding anniversary, we get that big fat positive sign! We are excited and really nervous at the same time! My expected due date is February 9th! This is still so unreal! I've only known for 3 days and its still sinking in! Although my body really doesn't let me forget. haha

    I'm a FTM, too. I don't think it has really sunk in yet. We were working with a RE who was no help and switched to a new one. We got a BFP with the new RE 6 weeks later - before we even got our first bill! I did not think it would happen so quickly once we switched.

    I called a couple midwives yesterday and it was so strange to say I'm pregnant.

    Our TTC Journey: Me: 39 (short luteal phase, hypothyroidism) DH: 41 (no problems)
    Pre-TTC: worked with a physician nutritionist on health improvement to naturally increase LP and get healthy.
    Cycles 1-9: Supplemented with progesterone during LP and acupuncture. All BFN's. 
    Cycle 10: switched to a new RE, medicated IUI and continued acupuncture. BFP! EDD: 2/5/15. Beta 1: 49; Beta 2: 151; Beta 3: 1878. 7w4d HB was 153.

    Congrats and welcome! FTM here and so excited! I got to see our itty bitty bean today-- after an early MC, it is a relief to see that things for now are where they need to be.... :)

    Congrats!!!

    We got married in March and decided to not be "careful" anymore in April and leave it in God's hands. Missed AF on Sunday so I ran to get some pregnancy tests and voila!! My first DR appt is tomorrow for blood work. Announcing it to our parents at my hubby's bday dinner on Friday :)<3 so stoked!! Based on how the due date is calculated, I am due February 16th!

    How soon after your blood work do you typically go in for an ultra sound?

    @verna25‌ depends on your doctor and your situation but unless you're high risk I'd say it's typically between 8-10 weeks for the first ultrasound. Not much to see before then.

    Congrats!! My husband is in the military and right now we live in different states. We decided to start trying when I went to visit this May... Not expecting much yet..,and I guess first times a charm in our book! I will be a first time mom as well and I can think of nothing else all day!

    I'm a ftm after 2.5 years of trying. I'm so nervous because my obgyn told me that I'm infertile (1% chance of pregnancy) in Feb. of this year and we found out we're pregnant a few weeks ago. I just pray every night everything turns out. I know all ftm worry though so that helps me feel sane.

    I'm also a FTM.. Excited but nervous... My sister has had 3 kids now (all under 4) & my younger sister is currently in her 3rd trimester with her 1st & my sister-in-law is in her 2nd trimester with her 1st. It will be fun at future get togethers!

    We got married in Feb this year.... I came of BC I'm mid April! We weren't really trying but we didn't protect either! Took a test last week and there was a big positive sign! We are soo excited!!! Can't wait to have a little one! Based on my calculated due date is Feb 9th!!! First appointment is Monday!

    FTM here too. Got pregnant on second cycle off pill. Very nervous and wonder about any ache or pain. Glad to know there are many in same boat :)

    I'm a FTM but a little worried after having a miscarriage last year. Just going to leave it in God's hands. We found out just in time for our 3 year anniversary too which I was really excited about! :) Congrats to all!

    FTM as well!!!!! I was suppose to start infertility treatments on Friday and got rushed to the hospital because of a ruptured cyst I was ok to go home then Sunday I found out thru blood work to check my CBC count I guess they wanted to check if I was pregnant so I can take some pain meds and I had the most amazing but shocking news that I was PREGNANT :) still can't believe it I'm feeling nauseas already even thou it's still early pretty scared but very excited!!!! Due date according to my last LMP is February 14th ;) yayyyyy! To February babies I'm a February baby myself =D>

    FTM, but not 1st pregnancy. I don't have a 'we just started trying' story. But I'm happy for everyone who didn't have to experience all the drama I went through. I'll tell you one thing, I paid a lot of money for this kid, so s/he better be perfect. Lol

    Oh I'm terrified. I don't have a negative background thankfully, but I also don't have a positive one either, you know? I can't wait till we're all in the "safe zone"!!

    FTM, first pregnancy. I'm still in shock. I haven't even called to make my appointment yet because it still doesn't feel real. Will probably do that tomorrow, and then start feeling nervous.
