    So then this IS a serious question? Because really we can't tell from a pic. Best bet is to ask your Tech during the ultrasound or your doctor after, though both will likely tell you to wait for the AS in a few weeks.

    Who exactly? I don't even know what this nub/skull theory is...so I'm pretty sure that question has not been asked here before.

    Making fun of someone is "fun" in elementary school. Instead of saying things to demean me and make me feel beyond stupid a simple "can't really see anything from that picture, sorry." Would have sufficed. I won't bother posting on here anymore. :(

    @angeladowns1‌ I posted something along these lines and was given many of the same responses. They were sort of mean and disrespectful. I think it's going to be a girl! I am sorry you are not getting the responses you wanted but I was/am just as excited as you are!

    Thank you! The tech said she's 90% convinced boy, which DH Iis thrilled about but I've thought it was a girl this whole time. :) we'll see for sure in a few more weeks! Thank you for being kind.

    EVERYONE IS EXCITED. But it is just not possible to accurately predict the sex of your baby this early by ultrasound. They all look the same at this point. The ladies on this board have had to answer questions like this over and over and over again. There are currently 2 other posts on the first page of the board of people getting flamed for questions similar to this. Not sure why you thought you would get a different response.

    Nobody finds out the sex by ultrasound at 13 weeks, even the most skilled U/S tech is not going to be able to determine that. Maybe you're confused by the ladies who had the genetic screening done which also does a gender blood test. But maybe you need to do some research of your own and figure out that the sex isn't clear on an U/S until around 20 weeks.

    Serious question. Who is finding out the sex of the baby at 13 weeks based on an ultrasound? I've never met anyone online or IRL who has and I've been on TK, TN, TB and various spin off boards since 2003. I found out the sex at 12 weeks becuase I had a blood test that looked at the baby's DNA.

     TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38
    Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.

    Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!
