  • That's awesome, and makes me feel better that I kept taking his hat off at the hospital because I liked this softness of his hair better than that stupid little hat.  That, and the hats are so thin I kind of liken them to panty hose...so thin it's more for looks than warmth!

  • Love it! I was just out shopping with my mom earlier, and she insisted on buying more hats because she didn't think we had enough. I couldn't help but feel that it really wasn't a big deal...

  • I've always suspected this! It does not seem logical that babies need hats year round indoors.

  • Eh, while I don't think healthy full term newborns need hats all the time, I'm pretty skeptical of the implication here that your baby wearing a hat is going to interfere with bonding and breastfeeding, or contribute to postpartum hemorrhage.  That sounds like a bit of a reach.
