Is there anything more depressing?

I just wasted a whole 4oz bottle.

I had my 6 week OB check up today. I took an "emergency" bottle along just in case for DS. I didn't end up needing it but totally forgot about it being in the diaper bag. It had been 6 hours and was in an insulated bottle holder but had no ice. I thought I might be OK because breast milk has a 4-8 hour range at room temp. But when I took the lid off it had an awful smell. Down the drain it goes. So depressing.

I spilled two ounces on the counter when transferring from bag to bottle. I was pretty sad!

We went to my in laws last weekend and I took about 4 bags of frozen milk In case I went anywhere and the would watch the baby... Well I ended pumping another 4 (my bags are only 5oz each) so I needed a bigger cooler so I ask my MIL if she had one (we have about an hour and half drive home) DH SAID JUST TOSS IT WE HAVE SO MANY AT HOME( our freezer is stashed ) I said what are you crazy this is liquid gold my friend

The exact thing happened to me this past weekend. I had to get my mom to pour it out for me. It's just too painful.

Last night DH wanted to dump a bottle that had been out for 6 hours and I said NO!! We've been sticking with 5 hours, but I told him we have up to 8 as long as it smells ok - DONT WASTE IT!!!

We've been trying to get LO to take a bottle by giving small amounts in the bottle a couple of times a day (or, trying to anyway). When i told DH we could refrigerate his bottle leftovers and offer again in a few hours, he said, "just dump It. You can just pump again!"
I actually told him to fuck himself, for realz.
Jut because I can do it and am lucky enough to have a supply to do it, doesn't mean it's an enjoyable thing to do, or easy to do when LO is fussy most of the time!

I poured 2 ounces into a playtex bottle....that didn't a actually have a liner in it. ! Yeah I was tired. After I did that I was tired and pissed.

Last week I pumped for several minutes without a bottle attached. I was so into the interwebz that I didn't notice until my chair cushion was soaked enough that it made my pants wet. I figure it was 2-3oz.

I've been having to break into my frozen stash the past week after not being able to add to it for nearly two weeks now. Every time I have to pull out another bag I get a little sad about it.

Breast milk is such a mind fuck!

Hate pumping, usually can only get 1 to 2 ounces in the morning. Doing it solely for a freezer stash. Emma has only had two bottles. I brought 2 bags of pumped milk with about 2 ounces in each to a memorial last weekend. (Wasn't comfortable BF there) asked my DH to run one under warm water and put in a bottle. He put both in and we ended up having to throw half away. We had a whole conversation the night before about why it was in two seperate bags. I almost lost it. Especially when he said it wasn't a big deal. Do you know how much time it took to get that milk??

I went to the store for an hour and had 8 ounces in the fridge. Hubster gave Merri ALL OF IT within 15 minutes...

...of course she puked it all up.

Lefty leaks so bad when I'm feeding with righty. I've had to use milk savers. This morning A kicked it while feeding and spilled the oz that was in it!

We're really new at bottle feeding so it's hard to be super pissed. But EIGHT ounces? Come on man, common sense!

Well guys are clues less needless to say. I leave one in a 4 oz bottle so he knows that's all he can give him I even have to tell him when to change him, he asks "why is he so fussy" well dude if you fed him what's the other thing that makes baby cry? I mean duh.

I am sorry! When it was the first week after giving birth i developed an infection on my breast. It hurt too much to BF my right breast so i had to pump in agony. Well i put the BM with the sheild still on, upright on the bed because the baby was crying. When i get back over to the bed 1/3 of the milk was gone all over our mattress. I cried so hard.

I was overly producing so I was pumping like crazy. Well LO wasn't pooping right and had read that if you overly produce the baby isn't getting the proper balance of the hindmilk/foremilk. So we had to switch to formula, I had at least a months worth of BM in the freezer that went to waste.
