I think rompers are cute. I think I could actually look cute in one. I just can't do it. I don't know why. Maybe part of it is having to pull the whole thing off when I have to pee.
Holding the pee in is not as easy after the second one. Just something to think about.
This is my feelings too. I think they are cute and I could see myself wearing one on a hot summer night bar hopping in Nashville. But I can not imagine myself peeing in a public bathroom naked.
The comeback of rompers is possibly my current favorite clothing trend.
Once 2.0 is birthed, I am going to buy all of the rompers.
I HATE rompers on grown women.
Add me to the hate on grown women. I think they are ridiculous wheteher you think you can pull them off or not.

Nancy looks so damn cute in rompers I can't even stand it. Why don't the adult ones just come with crotch snaps? Then maybe they wouldn't be as inconvenient?
My UO: There are certain items of clothing that as a plus size woman I think should not be made into plus size attire:
Rompers, Jumpsuits, Leggings, puffy coats/vests & bandeau tops. They're unflattering. They will not highlight your assets, but will instead highlight the areas you might not be most fond of. All trends are not meant for all sizes.
LL is a dirty liar because waffles are way WAY better thank pancakes.
Fact. I had a Belgian waffle at a food truck festival last weekend that was TO DIE FOR. They sprinkled some kind of coarse sugar on the batter that caramelized on the outside when it baked. Holy crap. It was a million times better than some soggy, limp pancake.
This discussion spawned my UO: All residences should come with an installed full-length mirror. You know, like they come with doors, walls, etc. Full-length mirrors in some shape or form should be in all homes. Maybe that would encourage people to actually look at the crazy shit that they wear and think twice, or even once.
Fat Girl here and I wear leggings in the comfort of my own home and that is it! I agree with @marisakathleen there are just some trends that should not in plus size clothing. I also think there are some classic cuts/ looks that plus size stores should always carry that are more flattering on bigger women.
The only things she's ever acted in were produced/created/whatever by her Dad. Otherwise she's famous for having babies and bad plastic surgery. She was in one of the trashy magazines at the checkout line and I got to thinking about how she really looks totally weird. Her plastic surgery makes me feel uncomfortable.
I think given the right outfit and accessories, any size woman can wear anything. I have a friend who is large (I think she's a 22-24) but she's also totally adorable, her outfits are always flattering, and she's ok with herself and her body image is a positive one. She glows.
I love that she has such confidence in her body. Every woman should feel this way. I'm plus sized 14/16 and wouldn't be caught dead in some of the "trends" today. Have you ever seen "The People of Walmart" OMG. Just no. I also think that "skinny" people shouldn't wear some of the things they do. So I see both sides of the coin on that one.
I don't mind the look of a romper but I feel like everytime I'd bend down I'd get camel toe or a wedgy. That fabric can only go so far when it's all connected.

I think 99% of the time when someone says they got pregnant because "the condom broke" they're full of shit.
I feel like this is directed at me, although I'm still in the 2WW. For a year and a half we have had no problems using condoms. They aren't expired. But we were going at it really hot and heavy. We didn't know it had broke until we were done.
I've been having sex for the better part of 15 years. I've been using condoms pretty much that whole time except when we were TTC with Nancy. I'm completely aware of how they work, but sometimes drunk people are stupid and a little more intense and they break and you end up pregnant. And no, @LoisLayn23, they don't snap. LOL! From my experience I had no idea it broke.
In school, we are actually encouraged to scan ourselves any opportunity we have. It's good practice if no one else is available to lay down and be your patient. .
In nursing school, you're supposed to practice IVs on your husband and friends.
In beauty school you practice waxing on your classmates. Imagine having to ask your classmate to bend over so you can wax their ass crack during a brazillian. :-)
I think certain things should not be reimbursable as far as business travel expenses go.
For example, that $1.04 coffee you bought because the coffee in the hotel lobby wasn't good enough? By the time that receipt is processed, signed off by all of the appropriate individuals, etc., your coffee cost the university over $20. Don't be a cheap ass.

I charge everything I can to the company. Everything. My $1.04 charge only needs to get approved by one person and he doesn't even need my receipt. They can pay for a damn latte if it fits into my per diem when I am taking time away from my normal life to travel for the man.

While it isn't my first choice that is the style my MIL bought the girls and they will look great in them. They look cute in just about anything though, even a burlap sack.
My mom buys neon stuff for the kids, so they wear it and, of course, they look cute in it. It would definitely not be my choice though.

Look at the crap that looks cute on kids but not on adults....crocs, rompers, elmo shirts, neon, all weather sandals, gingham, rick rack trim, etc.

Per diem is one thing. We have a flat per diem rate that covers all meals.
But, for example, if a conference offers breakfast, a certain amount is taken out of the per diem, and some people will submit receipt-based expenses to compensate for that.
In our case, that $1.04 receipt needs to be signed off by the immediate supervisor, given to the admin, who enters it into an Oracle expense report, which is then sent down to Sponsored Funds and reviewed before being "okay'd", and it is then sent on to the Research Foundation for final review and approval before payment is made.

Ha. Okay. That is not cool. It reminds me of the time I paid and reversed a $5 for a Fed agency 6 times. No lie. It cost them 100s of $ in processing the same effing bill.

Ha, I just posted in another thread that I like wearing neon orange in the summer. I am very pale and it makes me look like I have a tan. James and I have matching JCrew t-shirts that are a fav. I don't have a pic of me on my computer and my phone takes a full day to email pics now. But here is James sporting his.

That sounds like the bigger pain in the ass. We get a flat per diem that is based on the city you are traveling in. It doesn't matter what they provide at the meeting, I get $40 a day to expense. Even when I fly home at 8am, I have $40 that day since it is still a travel day. I buy all the good coffee when I'm traveling.

Geez...our per diem is $112 a day...and there are still people trying to get that extra $1.04 to cover their coffee.

I just said $40. It varies for where we go but it is usually under $60. But that just means it goes straight through without requiring approval from anyone. If we go out to a nice restaurant and have some wine one night, it gets approved too. But I don't think my company needs to buy me a bottle of wine every night. $10 for breakfast and lunch and $20 for dinner is usually way more than I spend.

It's either a romper or a dress, shorts look horrible on me. If I'm going to pee myself, it seems like the romper provides a little extra protection.
Dress over shorts and rompers any day. Oh, and while I like the jumpsuit slightly better than the romper, I won't be caught wearing one of them either.

I've never had a condom break. But I totally believe it can. But I also agree with BME that a lot of people claim that when it's BS.
I'm hoping that is more than just food. That is a crazy high per diem. DH's is $30.
Food & *Miscellaneous.
Lodging, travel, etc. is all separate. And, if you take someone out for a fancy dinner, you just forfeit that part of the per diem and submit it as a receipt instead.

except 39 week pregnant people who don't feel like wearing a regular bra, but who also can't go braless because they have gigantic tatas.
Side note, I would suck it up and put a regular bra on if I were leaving. And I am wearing a flowy tank over it. Like this, only not quite as cutely!

Amen. If the coffee were part of an entire meal, it would get paid for, so why not submit it? When I travel, there are often a lot of little expenses -- metro card, parking garage, cup of coffee. If I didn't submit all the under $5 charges, it would add up fast. FWIW, I've never submitted an expense report with just a cup of coffee on it, it's always one of many charges that are all getting approved at once

So what is Miscellaneous? Our per diem is just food. Gas, parking, tolls... are unlimited for travel. Entertainment has to be pre-approved, like if you are getting tickets to a game and wanting to expense it. Entertainment for clients has it's own allowables that don't apply to me so I have no idea what it is. Attorneys are always picking up my tab, not vice versa.
Waffles with ice cream on them are AMAZING. We had them in Greece on our honeymoon. Way better than a pancake has ever been. I would never turn down either though.
Rompers > jumpsuits - I don't think you'll regret it nearly as much when you look back at pictures. (Speaking as someone who was "rocking" a white jumpsuit in her first passport photo)
