UPDATE IN OP- LOSS MENTIONED: Not finding heartbeat- thoughts and prayers please

Hi ladies- I'm 15 weeks today and I've been trying since last night to find the baby's heartbeat with my home doppler and am having no luck. Since about 11 weeks, I've usually been able to find it within a minute, so this has got me really worried. I'm drinking a cold coke now to see if that helps anything but I'm just getting really worried about going through another loss. I'm going to continue trying over the next few hours (not getting any sleep anyways) and then going to call my OB when their office opens if I still can't find it. I'll take whatever thoughts, prayers, good vibes, etc that anyone can spare. Thanks ladies.

UPDATE: Unfortunately my feelings were right and we lost the baby. My dr said it was very clear with my last loss that it was a cord issue and all of my testing came back with no issues but since this is my second 2nd tri loss, she wants to rerun everything again and do mine and my husband's chromosomes to see where the issue may be. I'm just pissed off at myself bc I started getting excited about everything after we got the Panorama results last week and found out it was a girl. Even had a couple of girlie sleepers that I ordered show up yesterday And I'm really scared about what this means for our future. It just really fucking sucks...

Thoughts and prayers for you. I think home dopplers are great but they're not as accurate as the kind the OB/GYN uses, so please try and not worry until you're given a definite answer from a medical professional. All the best!!

will be praying! Just to let you know, I went thru something similar last week. It took FOREVER to find it, when I've been finding it since 11 weeks with no problem. I tried again the next day....still took forever but finally I heard it very, very faint in the background. I never could get it closer so it would pick up louder until the next day. I think its just because baby moved or turned or something and just wasn't cooperating. Please update when you can, will be praying!

I had that as well. I've heard the placenta could be in the way or something. Sometimes I can hear the heartbeat very clearly like it's close and I even think I hear the lub dub sound (that double beat). Then sometimes baby is real far away. I always move it off the heartbeat to hear the baby move.

It's normal for it to be hard to find the hb at 15 weeks. The baby is moving, my doctor couldn't even find it at my appointment, she could hear it moving, but this lo is a stinker. Found it on ultrasound. I hope all is ok, t&p for you.
