I'm trying not to think about what we did for Mother's Day as an example of how I should do Father's Day. We went to a golf place and I had their Mother's Day special of food and mimosas while DH did the driving range.
DH is more of a "I like gifts" person and I am a "I like experiences" person.
I side eyed him hard when he mentioned he wanted a new toy and referenced Father's Day as a good day to receive it when he didn't get me anything .....
I have a plan to do a handprint thing for him with LO, but am wondering if I should just get what he suggested.

I had a picture taken of the two kids, I had made a "We Love Daddy" sign but of course I forgot to bring it. I found a cute "Dad" frame though, DH really likes to have pictures of the kids at work.
I'm also making a craft project with my DS, it's a survey about DH with DS's answers. For instance for "Daddy's Age" DS insists DH is 5 years old : )
I did a photo shoot with dd holding black block letters that spell out DAD, put that in a photo frame as well as a couple of black and white photos of them I'm taking us 3 out for breakfast that we are going to a car show afterwards
I'm not doing much.. I will probably get a cute frame to put a photo of them & I am also going to surprise him and set up hooks for all his hats and keys. He has nowhere to put them right now so I think it will be a neat little surprise that he'll hopefully like. He has to work on Father's Day so we won't be doing supper or anything fun unfortunately.
It will be our first weekend in FL and we will be saying at my dads at that time. Honestly, we will aknowledge the day in some way but I doubt we will do much. I have no gifts planned. I wanted to do the dad letter pictures but have not.
DH loves to sing the aria Nessun Dorma from the opera Turandot to DS when he gives him his bath. The title translates to none shall sleep. My Mom took a great shot of DS when he was about a week old screaming his head off. Sooo....I'm going to make DH a tshirt with the picture and the words Nessun dorma on it along with the translation.
I got a golf ball marker customized with a picture of DD on it. I'm going to get him a gift card to a course to go with it.
I got a photo collage coffee mug for my dad and we'll go shopping for some shirts for him (for some reason that's our tradition and we make a fun day of it) and photo collage deck of playing cards for SO's dad since he's really into playing cards with his friends.
I would really rather take DD and spend the day with my dad and SO can spend the day with his but I'm not sure what's actually going to happen.
