    Yes I understand the issue behind hunting for fun. I don't agree with sport hunting either. If I was to hunt it would be for very specific reasons, never for sport. In my original post I said that I didn't agree with hunting just for fun.

    The only reason I brought up other scenarios is because they hadn't been discussed yet, but were in my mind valid reasons for hunting/killing animals.


    But again, killing an animal to protect yourself is not hunting so it's not applicable

    I am trying to think of a way to type out what I was thinking when I used protection as an example. I didn't necessarily mean an active attack, it could be they are coming close to your home, and if you don't do something they could easily get your family/dog. In that case you would have to actively hunt them.

    Of course things like that are more for people way in the country. It was just a thought I had.


    Buuuut actively hunting an animal to keep your family and live stock safe isn't hunting to be a bad ass. I feel like you're confused

    This hunting debate is really boring. I never knew it was even a thing to be debated. I couldn't even make it through most of the comments that had anything to do with hunting because I got bored lol.
