Leaky Boobs

Can someone tell me when this goes away? I'm at 9.5 weeks postpartum and absolutely cannot go without nursing pads. How am I supposed to walk around braless/shirtless like this? I've heard it's great for the nipples.

Everybody is different when it come to leaking, but mine improved between 12-14 weeks pp. I still leak overnight sometimes....

As for airing out the nips, I take a minute it two after each feed if I can to let them dry before putting bra/clothes back on. And always make sure your nursing pads are dry, that can cause a lot of itching and promote yeast growth.

Everyone really is different... I didn't have an oversupply, but needed to wear pads until around 6-7 months (especially at night).

I also needed pads at night for the first six months or so. I basically lived in a super comfy nursing sleep bra all that time, so it really felt like I was wearing nothing at all. I just got a few cheap cotton ones from Walmart. I even wore those sleep bras out of the house - FFC anyone?

It varies a lot from mom to mom.... I leaked until about 3 months postpartum, and continued to leak overnight until about 6 months.

I air out at each nursing (when I'm not leaking because i'm "drained") for a few minutes, and make sure I change my reusable pads each time if they get wet

I'm really leaky too (13 weeks pp) what's a leaky mom to do at the beach? (Sorry to hijack your post). I've read you can use lily pads, but that seems pricey for a weekend at the beach
