Warning... positive hpt but not all that thrilled **vent**

I think I might be one of the most morbid people ever to get a BFP. Im so worried and concerned that its a CP or will end in MC that I cant even find the joy to be happy if even for today. 

I feel broken and numb. And I almost feel like I'd rather it had been negative. Oh and did I mention that at 10dp5dfet, I JUST noticed heavier than normal spotting. I just cant go through another loss. 

I just saw the GTKY post about, whats the worse thing about 3T. Well right now in this moment, I feel like its this. The fact that your happiness and sanity gets sucked out with every cycle. That I cant even be excited about what should be a very exciting time... yet because of constant failures and disappointments Im actually sad. 

So now would be a good time for some wine and MaryJane

    Together since 2/15/11 ~ Legally married in NY on 9/29/12

    We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm.  8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy.  We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET.  I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013. 

    11/14/14 -  Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good. 

    12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2

    12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)

    1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

    I pray that you can find peace in this frightening time. I am so sorry about your losses and how it is hard to have joy in a BFP. I hope your embie(s) is doing well.

    Hang in there. This whole thing is so hard, I can only imagine where you're at. Take good care of yourself, pretty soon you'll know either way, and we're here pulling for you, good news or bad! Hugs, prayers, appendages crossed, etc!!!

    I'm so sorry your struggle with IF has lead to fear being the prevailing emotion instead of absolute joy. I totally understand why you feel this way and you don't deserve it.  My fingers and toes are crossed that this is your take home baby.

                 Beta #1 12dpo - 164 & progesterone - 89!, Beta #2 16 dpo - 1189, 5w3d - u/s shows TWINS!
                 6/19- u/s showed heartbeats! Baby A 111 & Baby B 118, both measuring 6w1d

    As hard as it may be just keep positive. Do something you enjoy or treat yourself to a nice dinner with the people you love. I'm a big believer in positive thoughts = positive outcomes. Hoping for the best. FX

    April 2014- First RE appointment
    July 2014- IUI#1-Canx due to scar tissue and polyps. TI with the help of Ovidrel. BFN

    August 2014- Hysteroscopy to remove scar tissue and polyp

    September 2014- IUI #1.1-100mg Clomid, Ovideral, 11.5 million swimmers=BFP

    EDD-6/3/15- Our sweet baby Ryan was born on 1/6/15 and is in the arms of an Angel

    Dx with IC on 1/6/15

    @Viola27 THANKS!! Its like Im holding my breath, and with each cycle as soon as I decide to breathe, thats when the bomb drops. Im angry at myself for not being in a happy place. But sometimes getting there is tough, or it feels real forced.

    I've got my FX that this is a sticky baby. I understand the feeling of not being able to even enjoy a BFP. BUT, I'm going to say as many BMB's that I've been on I've seen so many women have spotting and sometimes even heavy spotting and go on to have a healthy pregnancy. So that's what I'm keeping my FX that you are one of those women. Good luck!!!

    I can see why it would be hard to be positive, especially if you have experienced a loss before. I *completely* know that it is easier said than done, and I'm not very good at it myself, but try to take every day and moment at a time. Many, many healthy pregnancies have started with spotting. I really hope everything works out for you.

    I have my FX super hard for you!!! (((Hugs)))

    Me: 32  DH: 33  Married: March 2004

    July 2006: started TTC
    2008: HSG (normal), couple rounds of clomid through gyno
    2008 - 2010: dragging my feet out of fear and procrastination
    October 2010: first consultation with RE, dx PCOS and fibroids (DH slightly low count/motility)
    Oct. 2010 - Dec. 2012:  In DENIAL! avoided the issue because I was scared of surgery
    January 2013: returned to RE, fibroids grew significantly
    February 2013: second HSG, fibroids pushed on tubes which blocked them somewhat
    March 2013: MRI to determine what type of surgery may be necessary
    July 29, 2013: fibroids (5) removed via robotic laparascopy
    August 2013 - Nov 2013 : benched due to recent surgery

    IUI #1, Dec. 24, 2013, BFN 
    IUI #2, Jan. 25, 2014, BFN
    IUI #3, Feb. 25, 2014  BFN
    IUI #4 canceled due to lack of response to letrozole
    IUI #4.1 April 28, 2014, BFN
    May 16, 2014: wtf consult, start prepping for IVF in June and add injects for one last IUI in the meantime
    IUI #5 started letrozole and bravelle but canceled after HSG led to new diagnosis
    May 21, 2014: third HSG, tubes blocked, one at the beginning, one hydrosalpinx??
    June 11, 2014: consult, approved to move on to IVF because the hydro is not completely blocked therefore allowing fluid to move through slowly rather than backwards
    IVF #1 August 8, 2014 - 3dt of 2 embryos, BFN
    September 17, 2014 - 4th HSG, the right tube is very patent (open!!) dye went straight through this time. Weird!
    October 2, 2014 - started metformin treatment
    November 14, 2014 - blood work, brought A1C down from 5.8 to 5.5
    November 26, 2014 - RE finally back from vaca and reviewed my chart, no more IVFs for rest of calendar year
    December 1, 2014 - Right after Thanksgiving, I called a new clinic and got in right away! Plan for IVF
    December 17, 2014 - ER! 29 retrieved (!!), 16 mature, all 16 fertilized (ICSI)
    IVF #2 December 20, 2014 - 3dt of 3 embryos, BFN

    We are done with treatment unsuccessfully. :(

    Aug 2013 - SA: Counts & Motility = great, Morph = 1%; RE didn't seem too concerned

    Me: 26
    Jan. 2014 - Blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = high & AMH = low (0.73)
    Feb. 6, 2014 - Repeat blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = normal & AMH = low (0.9)
    Feb.  20, 2014 - First appointment with RE
    Feb. 24, 2014 - HSG scheduled;  DX:  one tube definitely open & one tube could be blocked
    Mar. 7, 2014 - CD 21 Blood work for Progesterone; DX:  Progesterone level at 5.2; shows I ovulated but was low
    Mar. 28, 2014 - Laparoscopy; DX:  Tubes open.  Found some endometriosis and had that removed.
     
    History:
    Started TTC:  June 2012
    June 2012 - March 2013:  When it Happens/it happens method = BFN
    March 2013:  Started using Fertility Friend
    Cycles 1 - 15 with Fertility Friend = BFN
    Cycle 16 - Benched due to Laparoscopy
    Cycle 17 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 18 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 19 - Natural Cycle = BFN

    I feel broken and numb. And I almost feel like I'd rather it had been negative. Oh and did I mention that at 10dp5dfet, I JUST noticed heavier than normal spotting. I just cant go through another loss. 

    I just saw the GTKY post about, whats the worse thing about 3T. Well right now in this moment, I feel like its this. The fact that your happiness and sanity gets sucked out with every cycle. That I cant even be excited about what should be a very exciting time... yet because of constant failures and disappointments Im actually sad. 

    So now would be a good time for some wine and MaryJane

    Im so sorry. :( Im keeping FX for you that this one sticks and you can enjoy the excitement! I think it is hard to get that BFP and then be worried about all of the things that "could" happen or "has" happened in the past. I'd feel the same way, probably throughout the first trimester. Sending hugs and positive vibes your way!

    Fx for you!! I completely understand the feeling you are describing and know that one day I will feel that same way again. Just try to take one day at a time---much easier said than done.

    10/2013 - Initial consult. Started levothyroxine - tsh 2.92
    HSG- showed graying in one spot/Saline Sono- showed 5mm polyp
    DH SA -  abnormal -  36%motility on both SA's (count and morph ok on SA1, a little off SA2)
    1/10/14 - Hysteroscopy to remove 5mm polyp
    1/12/14- Medicated Cycle 1: 50mg Clomid + Ovidrel + TI = BFN
    2/15/14 - Medicated Cycle 2: 100mg Clomid + Ovidrel + TI = BFN
    3/18/14 - IUI Cycle 1: 150mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
    Upped Levothyroxine to 50mg - tested at 2.62
    4/17/14 - IUI Cycle 2: 150mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
    Break!
    6/21/14: IUI Cycle 3: 150mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI

    IVF#2 beta moved up due to heavy bleeding 6dp5dt...beta was 11. beta#2 20.4! Beta#3 28 Chemical pregnancy :(

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is a sticky one for you...I know it's easier said than done but just try to enjoy the moment. (((Hugs))) Your Mary Jane reference made me laugh I was thinking is she referring to the tv show or the drug.... :-?
    Me: +35 DH: +35
    TTC: Since January 2013 
    DX: PCOS. Severe Endometriosis, Unicornuate Uterus w/only left tube and left ovary, Pedunculated fibroid (on the outside of uterus) and Anovulation. All conditions diagnosed 8/13
    TX: Metformin
    DH DX: MFI - low morphology, low motility
    Ultrasound shows both kidneys in spite of UU. 
    HSG showed clear tube on the left side. 
    Lap Surgery performed 1/9/14 to remove fibroid and endo (Stage 3)
    • IUI# 1 June 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 13: BFN
    • IUI#2  July 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 5.75: BFN
    • Natural Cycle - so shocked to be in 2WW - 7dpo Progesterone: 15.5: BFN
    • Working with new RE starting injectables in late August.
    • IUI #3 August 2014  w/ Menopur: BFN
    • Finally ovulating on my own!!
    Waiting to start IVF hopefully

    March 2014 - HSG left tube blocked, right tube partially blocked bilaterial partial obstruction; onward to the RE in April
    May 1, 2014 - Lap surgery and chromopertubation; Dr removed a bit of endo, but everything looks healthy & tubes are clear!
    May 2014- First medicated cycle, 2.5mg femara+TI; BFN
    June 2014- 2.5mg femara + hCG + IUI     on 6/18= BFP on 6/28!; C/P on 7/3
    July 2014- 2.5mg femara + IUI #2 on 7/18. Starting progesterone 7/23, bfn
    August 2014- 2.5mg femara + hCG + IUI # 3 on 8/15. BFN
    Tx break
    IVF #1 -
    12/1 - TOT & SIS- RE found a polyp
    12/15 - Hysterscopic surgery to remove the polyp; additional polyps found and removed
    12/29- Good baseline u/s, 12 antral follies
    12/30- Started stimming
    1/10 - ER: 17 retrieved, 14 fertilized!
      My Ovulation Chart - No data,  just meds
