A little late posting but I had a really sweet forest animal themed baby shower last Sunday. We had a really sunny day and my closest family and friends came to celebrate
Our family/friends shower was last Sunday, and my coworkers threw me a shower that Monday. I was overwhelmed at the support and amount of people who came to celebrate. Both were red, white, and blue themed because she's due July 4th.
I loved this Winnie the Pooh quote tree the hostesses decorated for me. And all of the snacks were pooh-themed. My fave was the "tigger tails" which were pretzel sticks dipped in orange white chocolate and striped with milk choc. Everything was super cute.
Our church generously gathered to celebrate & have a sprinkle shower for us last week. I wish I had awesome pictures to share but they're still on my camera at home. The main wall was SO pretty. Someone had got letters from Hobby Lobby & spray painted them a very pretty pink. It said, "Welcome Eve. Our little angel." & had beautiful fabric butterflies around it also. We had yummy finger foods which I could have kept eating forever & ever! Lol. They gave us the letters so we can use them in her room if we want to.
A friend also had a sprinkle at her house for us & did Mexican food which was amazing. For dessert there was homemade banana pudding & a homemade strawberry cake. Everyone was so thoughtful. There were about 6 people there & it was just so fun getting to sit around the table talking to everyone. One of the most thoughtful gifts was a monogramed bib in the colors of Eve's room. The lady didn't even know the colors of her room so it made it extra fun.
Picture overload but shower was a blast! So grateful for all the people that hosted and for those who showed up. Feeling incredibly grateful as we get even closer to July!
Also SO is cutting all his hair off next month and that makes me sad
We had my shower last Sunday, and it was adorable. We're doing a Finding Nemo nursery, and my BF's sisters did an amazing job of running with the theme. This kid had better love Nemo. ;-)
There was a lot of laughter and good times, and it was really special and a great way to welcome our baby.
Had a small family shower today. "Basketball and bows" girly take on sport themed shower. Don't have many pictures as they need to be uploaded and such, but here is the drink station with a bball hoop covered in a tulle tutu, the cutest mason jar glasses, some pink striped straws, and some yummy drinks and spa water.
I had an unexpected baby shower last week. An organization called Operation Shower throws baby showers for military families to ease the time of deployment. Due to this non profit organization the main sponsor of this wonderful baby shower was The Honest Company. One of the owners of that company happens to be Jessica Alba which she was there the whole time of the baby shower with all of us. The decorations were beautiful and I was speechless from all the support and appreciation that was shown that day to the military families. I was blown away by all the gifts especially when they told us we would be getting 6 months worth of diapers and wipes, this is a great help for my husband and I.
I had my shower this weekend - it was so great Very small, which is good (I'm not very comfortable in these types of situations - center of attention ain't my jam). We had it at a good friend's house, so people could socialize and mill around a bit, which was fun. I'm only AWing one gift, which was a quilt my sister made for me (her very first ever!) that depicts the lake and mountains where we grew up. I also put in some of the bibs we made during the shower, which was so fun!
I had my shower on Saturday! It was so much fun and so adorable! My mom hosted and went with a "Mommy to Bee" theme and she really went above and beyond! DH and I were very lucky to have so many family and friends come! Here are a few pics.. please look at the creepy sugar baby that my mom had made off of etsy, lol it is very cute but so realistic it creeps me out.. it's just sitting in our fridge staring at me every time I go in there haha. Oh, and my aunt hand drew a gorgeous fingerprint beehive guestbook, loved it all!

I had my shower today! My mom and MIL hosted together. I only requested they keep it small and I am overwhelmed by how overboard our guests went!! We ended up with about 30 people attending. I kept with the gray and white theme and we had a calendar for guests to guess the baby's DD and boy or girl. I got a TON of comments of how low I'm carrying and not going to make it to the end of July. My mom made an awesome diaper cake dog themed for our 3 furbabies and I'm including a pic of our little dog claiming the mamaroo for herself already! Here are some pics! It was absolutely perfect :-)
Posted one shower with school mom friends already. Had another with family and super close friends. Then yet another out of town group of friends surprised me with a baby shower weekend away which is the only one I have a photo of to attach right now. Last Sunday we had my hubby's work shower. I echo the feeling incredibly overwhelmed and grateful for all the love in baby boy's life. Have to keep reminding myself this is all for spoiling baby boy as I don't do so great with the attention either. Loved that DHs work wanted to throw a shower so bad, and LOVEd having him be a part of the celebration. Love all the love for baby boy regardless but felt so right having him be a part of the celebration for little man.
I had my "friend" baby shower Saturday and it was amazing! Not only did some of my friends from AZ drive to CA for it but I got to hang out with all my favorite women for about 4 hours straight!! Saturday was a gift...so much gratitude. Not to mention the cake...vanilla with light creme and fresh strawberries, whipped cream frosting. YUMMY!
Re: "Official" Baby Shower Thread
I have very few pics on my phone but thought I would add this one of my cupcake topper. SO cute!
