Zantac causing gas pain?

I finally got LO to take her Zantac, but now after being on it for the last few days she's been having terrible gas. It could be a coincidence, but nothing else has changed. Tonight she was screaming and bearing down and it was terrible :(  Has anyone else had this happen?  Will this pass after a few days or is it here to stay?

    this happened to us! we added prune juice to her bottles and that helped some but time also helped. I don't think it was that long until we saw relief. I hope LO is feeling better soon!!

    Thanks! I'll give it a few more days and hopefully it'll improve. I just felt so bad seeing her in such terrible pain tonight :(

    My LO didn't tolerate the zantac at all, and we had to switch to prilosec. Maybe ask about that if it doesn't improve?

    Took about 10 days for the Zantac to work for us. We also give her gerber soothe drops. That combo has worked really well for our LO

    Last night we gave her gas drops and gripe water! She's a gassy baby to start with, but normally a bit of gripe water calms her down. Last night nothing seemed to work and she was super gassy (though not quite as bad) the past few days as well.
