I have contemplated cutting off this long patch of hair that is right next to her ear and tickles her constantly...but I have grown rather fond of her side-mullet.

SS- I just trimmed his bangs a couple times to get them out of his eyes, I left the rest alone.

Yes. He had a mullet and random weird patches on the sides. I got just enough cut off so it would grow more evenly. He really liked the car chair but he didn't like being messed with. The whole thing took about 5 minutes.
He has the weirdest hair growth. He has no hair where his helmet rubs him, and then the other side is thin and long. Basically, he has the hair of an 80 year old. I have contemplated cutting the one side so it isn't so scraggly but you only notice when his helmet is off, which isn't often.

Any idea how much longer he'll have the helmet?
I think the helmet contributed to Dashiell's weird hair growth. He had rubbed spots too It was very long around his ears and stuck out of the helmet. It's much thicker on top where the hole was.

We had his three month follow up two weeks ago. He has improved but he's still 12mm asymmetrical. Since that is still severe and he still has his soft spot, well continue with helmet therapy and reevaluate every three weeks at his appts. So, indefinitely, or until he figures out how to pull it off.

That is weird. The lady at the place where we got our helmet said that helmets help with hair growth since there is not rubbed spot. DD hair grew so much when she wore her helmet. All the places that did not have hair filled it.
Good luck with the helmet. DD still has a spot where her head is flat but the helmet helped so much. You can do it.
E has had 5 hair cuts already and sticks with the 8 week visits that me and Belle do. I actually made E his own appointment to have a huge haircut with the shears the next visit in June.
On a funny note, I found a picture of my daughter around the same age as E. I didn't cut her hair until she was 3 or 4 and let it get quite long.
Eliza was a baldy at 12 months. I thought she would never have hair. She didn't get her first haircut until she was over two. She now has hair down to her butt. Don't count your girls out just yet ladies. I'm sure in the next year they will sprout a ton of hair. See below? That was her 1st birthday bath. Frosting and stuff. The second was last week.
Not yet but going tomorrow! It's getting long over his ears and constantly falling onto his forehead so we'll do just a little trim. I don't want to lose his fuzzy cowlick sticking straight up on top! I love it!
He has lots of hair but I can't do it. I've trimmed what DH calls "smeagol" hairs that were way longer than the rest and looked weird but that doesn't count.
Nope, not here, but she did sport pigtails for the first time this weekend!! My older dd had hair to her bum by 3, I have a feeling Allison will be the same....
No hair cut yet. She probably could use a bang trim, but I just push it over to the side. If it would grow in a little thicker I could just pin it back with a barrette and call it a day. I'm guessing she won't need an official hair cut until ~18 mo.

Hair is long enough for a spourt on her head but not long for a ponytail.
