My baby is 4 months old, breastfeeds and gets formula when I work.. I'm a terrible pumper. When is a good time to stop breast feeding? Some say 6 months others say 1 yr?? Opinions, please!
Babies need their primary nutrition from either breastmilk or formula until 1 year of age. As far as a "best time to stop", that's up to you. The World Health Organization recommends exclusive Breastfeeding until 6 months, and then a combo of solid food and Breastmilk until age 2.
There is no "best time to stop." It depends on you and your LO. Every drop they have already gotten has done awesome things for their health, so congrats to you in that respect Do what is best for both of you - whatever makes you the best Mommy is what's best.
