The Bachelorette

Okay ladies-- I know some of us followed the bachelor with that uber douche Juan Pablo. Let's start a thread discussing this season of the bachelorette. I don't know about you, but I think Andi is adorable and I'm so glad she's the bachelorette. When she bitched out jack hole on last season of the bachelor I loved her immediately.

What boys do we like? Not like? Who else is so sad that Eric passed away? Etc...

And so the journey begins!

Drunk dude? Was it the guy who had an adult hissy fit on his way out? I missed something. Oh wait... I just realized I didn't watch this week's show!! That must be why I'm lost. I'm excited to watch it now! Can't believe I missed it.

It seems like the guy who got the first impression rose is going to be a possessive douche based on previews. Eric seemed lovely -so, so sad. He died in a paragliding accident (I immediately googled after Chris Harrison's announcement).

I already hate the opera singer. So pretentious!

I agree with the opera singer. Not a fan of opera in general so he would've been gone night one. I like the farmer and a couple others but I can't remember off the top of my head

It was at the beginning of the first episode. Dh and i just watched mondays show, it was so sad to hear him talk about how much he wants a family and that never happened for him

I think she got a rough batch of guys. I could never date most of them. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them started dating each other. Totally sad what happened to Eric he really had some great potential. Dylan Chris and Marcus are my fave right now. I have a feeling this wasn't the first time Craig screwed something big up in his life due to alcohol. Plus his personality was strange and he never would have made it far sober. I thought the firefighter guy was kinda sexy too bad she got rid of him. Looks like it will be an interesting season

My gut says no. Something seems shady with him. I could totally be wrong but I can't shake the feeling that he is no good.

Anyone else catch how Andi said she had dated athletes before and Been "in that lifestyle"? The fact that it was plural made me give her a major side eye. Maybe it's because I know a pro athlete groupie type irl but it made me think differently of her

Interesting... I hadn't caught that at first. I do agree w pp that she is acting really weird. Like she's trying to hard. Maybe she's just nervous, but I feel like if she would just loosen up a little and be herself I'd like her more. Still want to bang dylan. Yuh-mee!

I can hardly focus on anything else but his flat upper lip and his sleepy eyelids when I look at the farmer.

I finally watched week 2 tonight. Marcus reminds me of Ryan Gosling a bit. Muttonchops McGee (the golfer) was a bit weird. Marquel seems like substance-less flirting and nothing deep.

Still hate the bodybuilder and the opera singer.

There's another guy who REALLY reminds me of Michael the lawyer from last year (the one who reamed out Ben).

Im so glad that this thread exists!! I dont think my DH appreciated my cheers from the bedroom during the rose ceremony. He was also watching Game of Thrones. Now if I can only I can get Boys to Men songs out of my head...

Ugh I'm not really feeling nick or Joshua after that episode. I'm now on the fence about Marcus. Is it weird that I actually felt bad for Bradley... Can someone please find that man a woman?!! I picture sitting at home singing opera with his 15 cats crying cause he's lonely. I really want to see more with Dylan and how he interacts with Andi.

I like Brian so far.... Agreed that there is something off about Marcus. Felt bad for Dylan, but he just seems to shy/reserved for me. I usually know a lot if names by now- but there are so many guys just not leaving an impression in my head.

Sad ending with Eric & too bad it left on a bad note. I didn't see that coming at all... I think she overreacted to him anyway.

I have never been one for reality television but this thread made me watch On Demand and I am HOOKED!!!

I am in love with the farmer from Iowa.

The basketball coach seems sweet and I love that he is too scared to kiss her (seeing as she has shoved her tongue down everyones throat so far).

Marcus creeps me out.

Ugh Eric - so sad. He has the most beautiful eyes!

I hated the ending of the latest episode. They said it wouldn't be right to do a ceremony and they wanted to make it about Eric but I felt like it was all about Andie. They should have shown a montage of his life or something if that was their intention.

It was a recap of the season so far for the first 30-40 min and then they showed the lead up to and the actual skipped rose ceremony from last week where Tasos went home.

It was the HRC interview with Diane Sawyer... they must have had to piece together a 1hr show because they lost half of the usual time slot to that special airing.

I totally agree. Andi acted like an ass -- no idea why she completely twisted Eric's words. Poor, exhausted Andi...not.
