Confessions: What have you bought for baby already?

We made a few purchases to share our news at Christmas. Each set of grandparents unwrapped a baby blanket with pacifiers. I thought they would possibly give them back but I guess they are holding on to them for their first babysitting duties. Other than the gifts, not a thing! We have gone to BRU and Buy Buy Baby for our friends baby shower gift and we quickly browsed. It will be fun when the time is right.

Well I have to admit..We have bought the crib and the stoller and car seat! I know it is early, but I would like to go ahead and have all of this "big" stuff bought. I can't stand when people put crib's and expensive stuff on their registries, to me it is like asking for a hand-out, and I was just raised up different I guess, and not to mention that we don't have much money, but while we have money now, we went ahead and bought that stuff that way whenever all of the doc's & hospital bills are coming up we will hopefully have money for those. That way we are not spending all of that all at once. And on a postive note....it is SOOO fun to look and buy them and when you get them home you can play with it!

not a thing...way too early. there is no use buying anything until we find out what it is...however, i did just take a peek at the clearance baby things today. i may buy something neutral after we see a hb again, but im not letting myself buy anything now...i would go crazy and buy stuff that i didnt even need..

Mostly just some books at the moment, but we've gotten a few gifts - stuffed animals, a onesie, diapers, and whatnot. I don't even want to KNOW what MIL has bought already ... My parents have a bit more restraint, I think.

I'm so superstitious. I would feel like I'm "jinxing" it if I bought anything for baby this soon.

my grandma but a bunch of newborn socks and booties and my aunt bought and adorable halloweeen outfit.

Have not bought anything yet but I am going to start buying diapers, wipes, and stuff like that, maybe next month. Once we know the gender I will start buying clothes. Even though I don't buy stuff I LOVE looking!!

DH bought a baby swing from a co-worker who never used it. He got a great deal and we just couldn't pass it up!

Well I've only bought a few items...but for Christmas my mother and MIL bought a ton of stuff. It was so exciting! I can't wait to find out what we are having so I can buy more! Big Smile
