She got a jogging stroller. That was the biggest item. She also got an antique like high chair. Which EC uses for her baby dolls now.

Manly it was just a cute little tea party for her. No registering. She loved it. My husband thought it was super sweet her friends did this for his mom.

Can I have a wtf Thursday cause I need to vent. Wtf best friends pos soon to be ex husband. You are the scum of the earth. Over the past 7 years you have cheated god only knows how many times. You leave for a week at a time, spend all of the rent money. Come home act like a dick then a week later ask for forgiveness. And bff always gave it to you. Now after everything you have put her through you ask for a divorce, kick her out of a house in a city where she know not a soul but your mother (who is quite the bitch herself), and when she comes home (so she desnt have to sleep in her car) you file for custody saying she abandoned them. She was there with then 3 days ago!!! Now to find out you have been fucking the 19 year old babysitter for over a year, dude your 35 grow the fuck up!

That's not too bad! I get annoyed when these grannies are asking folks to throw them a shower and registering and shit. Like they are the mother. My MIL made a comment to me about how she told SIL that she needs to throw her a "granny shower" and she has a baby wishlist online, so perhaps I'm especially bothered by it, because...no. My kid. I should get the shower and be the one to register, not her.

@missnacholover With DS, my mom's co-workers threw her a grandma shower. I thought it was cute and sweet because they don't know me. My mom ended up giving the items all to me because she didn't need anything. Whenever she babysits, it is usually at our place and she has access to everything she needs. I guess it would depend on the mom, but I could see how it would get really out of hand and stupid.

Re the Grandma showers:

My mom's neighborhood ladies have always thrown a shower (Wedding and baby) for all the kids in the neighborhood. We all grew up together so it made sense to celebrate together!

One of the girls couldn't get a date settled and it became a fight so the ladies all just threw a grandma to be shower for their friend. It was a fun get together with a few fun toys, clothes and wine (since mama to be wasn't there). No regstering!

It was totally fun for them!

Missed this yesterday, but i really need it. WTF nausea!!! Haven't thrown up in three days then out of blue yesterday I'm sicker than i've ever been. I literally threw up from the moment i woke up until i fell asleep around eleven. I couldn't keep anything down. Then today my uterus is sore and my kidneys are sore. I need to rehydrate pronto.
