Hi all!
Yesterday I had some really bad cramping and a gush of bright red blood - I was beyond positive I was m/c so I called my doctor and they sent me to the ER. After six hours of testing, u/s, and waiting, they finally told me that there was a baby in there. They didn't see a fetal pole but it is still early (5w5d) but they also saw a fairly large Subchorionic Hematoma which is making me very nervous. I'm seeing my OB today so hopefully I can get some more answers. I hate how the ER doctors talk in abstracts. How large is "fairly large"? How much is my "increased risk to m/c"? Where is this thing in comparison to the baby? I had even more bleeding today. I'm so very nervous but I'm glad to be able to get some answers today at my OB office and I guess this is the "best" type of bad news I could get.
T&Ps little one hangs in there for us are appreciated. Thanks gals!

Update:
It's bad. My ob did another u/s and showed me and talked me through it. There is a sac but she couldn't tell if there was a pole but it is early 5w6d. There is a massive SCH and she said if she was a betting woman, this would more than likely end in m/c but stranger things have happened. She pointed out the SCH and I asked how big an average one was and questioned "like half?" and she pointed to a way smaller spot. So essentially my SCH is 6x larger than average
. She took more betas too see if baby is growing and we get results tomorrow. My glimmer of hope is that my betas yesterday were 11,106 which is right on track with where they should be but even with a growing baby, the SCH can still cause m/c. Continued t&ps are appreciated. Thank you, gals.

Thank you all. I'm very hopeful to hear that others who had very large SCHs went on to have healthy babies. It is beyond scary to hear you OB tell you chances of m/c are very high.
