Wow. Just wow.
I'm the one you're talking about. So I'm being marked - & stalked & followed to other boards?
Just FYI - what you sow in life, you will reap.
Well, in all fairness, some of us also belong to the Pregnant and over 35 board, so it's not really followed & stalked. I saw the thread a few days ago when I intro'd over there. I thought your comments were mean, but I ignored it.
My feelings are "to each her own". You don't have to like the dynamic of this board-- people here don't have to enjoy your posts. The Bump is a big place, and there is no reason we can't happily co-exist.

Holy overreaction batman. You commented about others in a public message forum. They found out. You talked about our BMB on another board. We talked about you in this post. Aren't you being hypocritical?
TB does not take kindly to those who are ignorant, and it seems like the only people who don't know this unwritten rule are the ignorant ones. It has nothing to do with attacking. A lot of it is just a mixture of common sense, human courtesy, and a working knowledge of google.
I must have missed some good popcorn-time! I've tried lurking around to find the original offense. I'm not really a fan of sharing other people's gossip or trash-talking just to make conversation, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy a little drama now and then.
The best way to do that is to click on a poster's history and try to find the offense from that, but I think that can only be done via computer, not mobile.
Thanks CMB - I had found the post in 35+ PG, but I guess I was more curious about the posts she was referring to where someone was being "attacked".... I'm sure my memory is hazy, but I remember my last Bump experience to be a lot more "quick to judge/snark" feeling than this one - maybe I've just learned?
All that to say, I see the sarcasm and the snark here too, but none of it's seemed hurtful or bullying (though I obviously haven't read everything and missed the flamed-post), so I was surprised to even see this thread in the first place.
ETA: not surprised that anyone called her on it, just surprised that anyone felt like they were being attacked.
I felt like that poster was attacked. Especially when a new post dedicated to mocking her was made. Aren't we all adults here?
Some of us don't live on the bump and don't know how this works. I would think that a BFP would be celebrated on the ttgp board, as that is the goal. Maybe people should just drop the whole issue.

They are for people who are members of the board. The OP of the drive-by was not a member of the TTGP community; those bfp posts are not celebrated and are extremely rude.
I can see it being perceived that way. I guess my point is that not everyone understands how these boards work. Once she realized the error she moved to a bmb. I didn't even know the bump existed until I got my bfp.

You really don't have to be apart of the board for a long time to grasp it- if you lurk. Lurking is important.. all boards are different and have different vibes. You can EASILY grasp the vibe of TTGP by lurking for a very short time. Being a part of a board for one day and then screaming your BFP isn't cool there. It's kinda perceived like.. "I got my BFP, bitches! Beat that! SEEYA!" .. people have built friendships there, it's give and take. Not take and take.

These little digs are annoying. Just because some of us know our way around here and understand how the boards work does not mean we "live on the bump." We have lives. We just lurked before we posted. We clicked on the "New? Click here first" posts that nearly all the boards have pinned.
