We had two appointments last week because of the progress I made in one week she wanted to check me again on Thursday. I was sent home and told if I felt anymore pressure or pain than usual just call the answering service she would be on call that night. Well we went home did our usual routine, I was trying to finish up the nursery, had dinner and then I was in pain, lots of pain. I tried to put it off as I pushed too hard doing last minute items, but DH called the answering service and we were told to go to L&D. When we got there my contractions were about 2-3 minutes apart, and my blood pressure was really high. The contractions slowed down to about 5 minutes apart but my blood pressure was still high, they decided they would monitor me overnight if my blood pressure did not go down they would start pitocin in the morning. My blood pressure did not drop so they started my pitocin around 5:30am, and my water broke at 8am. Audrey Ann joined us at 9:40am arriving at 6lbs 8oz 19 1/2" long. I did have GD while pregnant, they checked her 4 times on Friday and her levels are wonderful! We are so blessed and our family is now complete with our 3 little ones!
