I am currently hooked up to an IV and waiting on the nurse to come in and place the Cervadil for the next 12 hours. (12:45 pm right now)
This is in order to get my cervix to dilate at least a little bit. After the 12 hours, they will start Pitocin, and we will hopefully meet baby boy Avett tomorrow morning.
His movements slowed down over the past few days, so the doctor didn't want to take any risks. Luckily, he was already measuring 7.3 lbs at my 36 week appointment so he should be a nice size at 39 weeks 2 days.
Hearing the crying babies around me, and seeing his warming tray next to me is very surreal.
UPDATE: BABY BOY AVETT IS HERE.
After nearly 29 hours of labor, my baby made his entrance into the works at 3:57 pm on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014!
He weighed 8 pounds 11 oz and was 20.5 inches long. Big ole baby! Lol! So far everything has been great, and we are both doing very well with feedings. Feeling extremely blessed and proud that I can share the news. Good luck ladies!

Thank you to everyone with well their well wishes. Things are moving along, but we still have quite a journey ahead of us. I'm thinking he will be here in about 12 hours. This will give us time to finish the cervadil and have pitocin going for several hours!
No problem! I will check my box again,maybe mine is just hormonal and won't give me or send out my messages
