  DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome.
  131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....

  We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

  That took forever to get through!
  
  I almost puked on my baby last night and then again a little while ago. I slept the whole time the nanny was here and it was glorious...glorious.

  I would kill to be able to put the kid in front of sesame street, little einsteins, jake and the never land pirates, sophia the first, dora, thomas...ANYTHING for 30 mins at a time.

  @etoille - Lilly focuses on a show or movie for 10-15 minutes at a time, unless it's the Baby Einstein puppets anthology (YouTube Link) or Daniel Tiger (Netflix has streaming episodes). I haven't tried to see how much longer she would watch beyond 30 minutes, but she LOVES them both. *Heads up: DT's voice is like nails on a chalkboard and they sing some really annoying songs.

  I remember spending months wishing L would nap in her crib rather than on me. Now she is sleeping in my arms for the first time in I can't remember how long and I am LOVING the snuggles.

  @Meimsx We'll keep the line until he proves he can stay hydrated without it, so I don't know if that will be a week or a month or what. But yeah, after that we're good to go as long as he doesn't sweat so much that it becomes a hydration issue.
