Ohhhh! I saw it on TTGP but never clicked on it because I didn't recognize the name but also realize that I don't know all of the regular/active posters. And I saw the BFP post on our board, too, and thought it was curious that it was getting so many replies because we get a ton of intros, but I hadn't gotten around to clicking on in.

Sorry I missed the shit show. Can I say shit these days, or do I need to go back to saying shiit? I should know this, since I am a mod. lol

What really isn't necessary is taking a post where the author is obviously upset and feeling bullied, of which in my review it appears she was, and reposting it for the purpose of others to make fun of it. It's not funny, it's mean. And however well intentioned any of the response posts may have been meant to be, it isn't the purpose of these boards to make people feel bad. One person as an example called her an idiot. Lets be welcome and open to all, sharing our experiences with pregnancy, asking questions, etc. and perhaps our communication can be respectful and open to all.

You don't understand these boards. No one was bullying her. She was rude to the TTGP girls, some of whom have been there for more than a year. She was told it was in her best interest to apologize. That's not rude, that's honest. I am not going to cater to someone's feelings when they clearly don't either. Think of how hurtful it is to see someone post a BFP on a TRYING TO GET PREGNANT board. Come on now...

Please don't try to tell me what I do and don't understand. My post has a purpose and that is to request to keep things respectful. I am not sure how you can argue against this request? People called her names and outright belittled her decisions about going to urgent care. Her choices, her money. However, the point I am trying to make remains the same. Lets be respectful and open to all.

There are people who go to urgent care with ACTUAL PROBLEMS. Going there to confirm a pregnancy test is taking up time that doctors could be spending on people who have injuries. So, yes, I'll say it again, her decision was idiotic.

I don't see why this needed a new thread (it's nothing original for TB), but I also don't think the OP did anything to deserve my respect. I don't respect or appreciate her decision to post a drive-by on TTGP (apologies are so easy to make, but she didn't do that) and I don't respect her poor decision to go to an urgent care center to have a pregnancy confirmed. Sorry, but I'm never going to be open to insensitivity and bad choices.
