Really random question - I have a few skin tags on my neck and was wondering if they can be removed during pregnancy? Obviously I can wait until after birth if necessary, just curious as they are rather unsightly. This is probably a really dumb question so apologies in advance

I've never had skin tags removed before - don't know of any reason why they couldn't be during pregnancy, but don't know enough about it to know for sure.
TIA!

And, if it makes you feel better, since I will be going in for a dental cleaning soon, I asked my OB in advance whether or not dental work was safe like filling cavities (if it comes up at my appt) and I was told local novocaine shots would be safe for LO. I would imagine that a local shot for skin tag removal would similarly be safe.
Skin tags can keep popping up. I'd wait until after delivery (and possibly breast feeding or initial post partim) to let hormones regulate. That way you can get a full assessment and maybe avoid another trip to the doc.
