This morning I met up with the mom of premie twins that I had donated 2000 oz of breastmilk to over the first few months of Brynne's life. I gave her 800 more oz which is all I want to spare to make sure Brynne still gets one or two bottles of breastmilk a day until 18 months (after we wean at 12 months.)
The twins are doing so well. I am so happy that we were able to help, even if only for a few months. She started crying as she thanked me which of course made me cry.
Brynne let out a huge fart that resembled an elephant sneezing which made us stop crying and laugh instead.
I fought for every oz with Jack so have felt really lucky to have an oversupply this time around. So mamas who struggled with supply with their first, that doesn't mean you will next time around. >:D<
I felt incomplete yesterday because I didn't participate in anything or even open the spam thread. But I am sick and couldn't even. Hi everyone!
I thought we felt a little off. Feel better!
@Asbromle I prefer grocery shopping with LO compared to husband :-/ he is hard to shop with. I can't put my finger on it...but we just have very different styles of grocery shopping.
@lizabethann06 that is effing awesome and I hope my second time around I will not cry with drops and will have extra to share
Well I thought we would spend the day in after spending all day in nyc yesterday. Nope we went to New Hope and walked around there all day. Eva has some personality. She waves and yells hi to everyone. She also points at people and laughs. Today all the bikers were out in new hope and she was waving to all the guys and chicks on their Harley's. It was hilarious. She's an aw.
My husband just buys snacks and drinks when I bring him to the grocery store. Never anything with which to put together a meal.

So what I thought was teething is actually a stomach bug. I thought I was getting it again too. Turns out it was the milk I had in my cereal this morning. It expired a WEEK ago.
DH and I usually shop together since it ends up being part of an errand day. He always wants something not on my list and I get irritated because it's always something expensive and not good for either of us. Sometimes he gets it sometimes he doesn't. I'll take the company over going alone usually.
Husband is at dads night, V is sleeping and I am working on my presentation watching hours of biographical stuff on Freddie Mercury. What an interesting man that we lost way too soon. Unfortunately we didn't know him well enough since he was a very private person but piecing together what is out there is so fascinating. I had Queens record single of "Another One Bites the Dust" and what ever was on the B side...I hope I still have it somewhere at my parents house.
I am a terrible shopper and always stray from my list, my husband is very good at getting what's on the list, although he is terrible at picking out fruits and veggies.
DH is trying to teach our three year old how to play video games. He downloaded this Mickey Mouse video game , in it an evil witch named Miserabelle takes Minnie and you have to save her. So far she is mostly interested in the little video at the beginning of the game. Sorry about my iPad formatting.
DH comes home with exactly what was on the list. I come home with everything on the list except two things that I forgot, plus popcorn, Cheez-its, and Cherry Coke.
This is me also. But I hate having a list. Too limiting. I wander around the store and read the backs of things, sample stuff, etc. super annoying to grocery shop with me.
Well my dh puts cheezits, cherry coke, and popcorn on our list and makes me look like I have no sense of nutrition. I am slower than us as a team...we used to have grocery dates when we would split our list and set time limits for each section.
My dad is a crazy grocery shopper. He would buy 3 brands of something and set up a blind taste test when he got home.

You are awesome for donating so much BM! Also, it is so reassuring to hear how huge your supply was with the second babe.
I am incredibly anal about grocery shopping. I not only use a list, but I organize my list by areas in the store. It saves on back tracking. DH is also a list shopper and his big sticking point is how you put things on the belt at checkout and therefore bag it.
You have to put everything on the conveyor belt correctly! You can't just put things up there willy nilly. There needs to be an order because then it's bagged almost correctly. There is still an imbecile bagging so I can't control all of the stupid bagging mistakes but correct belt placement is the first step in assuring said order.
Lillie and Jamey are even cuter in person. And KK is great, too!
Aww you love me! We had a lot of fun and J was still taking about the pool at bedtime. It was great having so many J13 babies in one place! It only took about 20 minutes to get home which was much better than the 1.5 hours on the way in.
I felt like seeing Pants in the flesh was like meeting a celebrity. He's real you guys! And @etoille is hilarious, straight shooting and fabulous. @lancomechica is just as gorgeous and smart in person as you all imagined. @Stina2012 is super cool and her Riley is so cute and quite the daredevil!
Screaming bloody murder for the last hour. I was just about to put him in his crib to walk away when he stopped. I really hate that DH is never home at night to help
My babysitter who never showed up just applied to my nanny job post. Idiot!!!!!!!!
@Clyde013, James doesn't hold his bottle either.
You need to have her come over for an interview and then say something like
"You know, your name seems familiar - I once scheduled an interview for a babysitting job and the lady never even showed up, let alone cancel the meeting. I can't believe the gall of some people. That just screams flaky and unreliable, doesn't it?"
But then again that's just a waste of your time you could spend doing fun stuff

I actually did have an interview with her! The first time she was supposed to babysit james, she never showed up!
After reading @ramy3695 PSA I'm getting really annoyed at most of the Memorial Day related FB statuses. I never noticed before how many people really don't know what the day is about.

Omg. I stopped grocery shopping with dh years ago. It was the most irritating experience and I'd just get rages. Lol
