  Could be a growth spurt. DS was like that at 10 days. Nursed for almost 12 hours and was awake the whole day.

  just be thankful her awake times are during the day! DD is 3 weeks tomorrow, but is usually awake from 4pm-8 or 9 (sometimes 10pm) and by then she's sooo overtired it takes forever to get her down.

  DS is 13 days old and was like this yesterday and today.  Nothing I could do would make him go to sleep!  I just finally got him to sleep an hour ago and am afraid to move or make any noise in case he wakes up!

  Same boat here, DD is 16days and will not sleep. Her awake time is 11:30pm-2:30am lucky us

  I would recommend trying the EASY schedule. Its from the book "Secrets of the Baby Whisperer" by Tracy Hogg. Basically you feed the baby, let them be awake for a while (about an hour or so at this age including feeding time), then you put them down for a nap while they are still awake. That way they don't have time to get overtired, which means they will fall asleep better. It can take a few days to get them to fall asleep on their own, but totally worth it in the long run.   I'm envious. My DD sleeps all day except when she wants to eat. Then she wakes up around 11pm and is up until close to 4am (just nursing and fussing). Then I have to get up at 7am to get my 5 yr old ready for school. I'm. So. Tired.

  My baby is only a few days old but she is up all night and she cluster feeds from 1 AM- 4 AM.
