My ER trip

I wanted to post this yesterday but I didn't get out of bed all day. Thursday night at 2am I woke up from nausea and thought it was just MS. Once I was awake I realized I was actually having a lot of abdominal pain. Laid there for a while before waking my husband. He is an internist so not much use with pregnancy. Anyway, we both agreed 1.5 hours in that I should go to the ER. I am 5w3d and have not seen a doc yet so we wanted to make sure this wasn't ectopic. So he stayed home and I drove in at 3:30am. My beta was 8900 and sono showed 1 intrauterine pregnancy that did not quiet measure 5w yet. She also said my luteal cyst was "large" and could be causing the pain. So I went home in pain but relieved it was not ectopic. Once home about 2 hours later I started with awful diarrhea. Turns out my pain was the start of gastroenteritis. Seriously did not get out of bed all day yesterday. Feeling better today though. Would like to see this gestational sac be measurable but no bleeding yet so time will tell.

I'm sorry you're in all that pain, but I'm glad your LO seems to be doing good.

Lol not bad husband, we had 2 sleeping kids in the house so it was the only option.

I just got over a horrible bout of the stomach flu and I was worried about baby too. My toddler has been sick with it since Tuesday. It's awful. Feel better!
