What is your favorite water sport in the summer Olympics?
If someone had had the chance to move to a mecca for their sport after college and train to try to make the Olympic team, but their parents gave a whole speech about how "once you get off the beaten path, it is sometimes hard to get back on," and so, instead, they went to law school, and then their best friend decided to go ahead and take a leap of faith and ended up going to the UK Olympics, would you find ways to bring that up to your parents on a regular basis?
Or would you put it behind you and realize that, if you had moved to that city, you never would have met your perfect husband and have two perfect babies, so life has a way of working out?
Okay--really, you only have to answer the first question.

I need to know what this mystery sport was.
Hmmm...that question was obviously just a random hypothetical. Besides, this is not asksooneranything, so I am afraid I can't discuss.
Ooohhhh...does it bother you that nurse practitioners are basically like doctors who didn't go to medical school, but you have the word "practitioner" in your title, so some people assume you are like a student "practicing" to become a nurse?
What is the single greatest accomplishment of your life (getting married and having Willa don't count)?
I guess so far is getting my masters degree. Although, I should say my bachelors, because I partied waaaayyyyy too much to have pulled off that feat with an above average GPA.

Haha!! Awesome--and good luck on the doctorate marathon!

Cause that would not go over well with me...
I actually had a patient, who is actually a patient of the PA that works with me, ask me if I was a practical nurse. Um, no.
It just shows me that people aren't educated about the difference and that's ok. It my job to teach them. #comingaftersleepysmostdiplomatic
Gosh IDK. I guess I would say either my mom or my husband.
My mom had no help from my dad when I was growing up, had 2 jobs, was involved in all of our activities, always made holidays and vacations special...she's pretty awesome.
My husband went to the Naval Academy really to escape his family life, and got to live his dream of being a pilot for many years until his planes went away. Then he was stationed with an Army battalion for 9 months in Iraq, I'm sure in unsafe territory, but he never complained, never told me anything...still hasn't. That's pretty amazing.

Very diplomatic. But does it at least make you laugh later?
I have more questions, but it is late. Since I don't get to participate in AMAs very often, I proposed that threads be allowed to be resurrected whenever a burning question comes up!!
But final question-- do you think Willa and you are going to be best friends someday?

Nah. I was pretty irritated. But he was calling the PA his "doctor" so I guess he doesn't understand her position either.

Re: Official amjoy25 AMA
What living person do you most admire?
Do you believe in love at first sight? Has it ever happened to you?
